Snow, hmm.. how many pic for the top up of 1k? tink they are dam good at sharpening knife man.. like i mention, nt done yet.. yesterday was a jewellery selection day for mi..my in law got me 999 gold fm poh heng n wanted to get the thick one which i confirm wil nt wear so i told her thin one can liao..same as bangle cos hubby hokkien so is a pair of bangle one lo..total in all is abt 2.5k spending yesterday man.. haiz.. my hubby shd hav communicated wif her man..cos he also go buy the 4 dot GOld for mi as dowry.. joker.. i will not wear one lo.. haiz........ we prefer diamonds.. haha... agree gals? kekeke

I also juz went to select my "4 dot gold" with my hubby and MIL at Poh Heng a few weeks ago. They have some really nice gold diamond ring, studded earrings and pendant so I chose those. Since its not auspicious to buy white gold so i got no choice but to chose the gold jewelleries with diamond diamond so that I MAYBE will wear during occasions...Kekeke...

for mi gold might b onli for CNY which I will wear reluctantly onli bcos it's a waste to stash them away in d drawer but they are old jewelleries lor....

Hmmm...i hvnt select my 4 dot gold & the price of e gold seems to be shooting high up...my AD on Dec & is it too early to buy nw?cos i wan avoid the 2% increase in gst..which gold shop got more varieties of gold to choose fr and what can be bargain on?

I;m really very free ah,did i not do anythin as my parents tink e guys side parents shd do all but my husband parents don't seems to bother ah...OMG...

Mine is 1k for 13 poses. 1 additional pose for $80. I nvr like to take pic coz me very round thus feel bery demoralise everytime i see the pic.... But the photographer really know how to take the best angle... so I look a bit smaller and suddenly everything looks good. kekeke... so we top up lor

Btw do we really need to buy 4 dot gold? i oni buy 3 leh... can? N i bought white gold. heehee

Btw do take yr pics earlier.... so as to give yr PS longer time to design or touch up etc.....Coz i took my pic too late already... Now then choose pic..... They can oni complete in late July. Hiaks

ashley....guess shd b fine cos my AD is on 02 Jan nearly a mth earlier than urs & my PS scheduled on 24 Aug which is highly recommended by bs to allow for xtra time for any amendments to album nec & collection of album at least 1-2 weeks b4 our AD. Btw have u booked ur PS date?? beta do it quickly as everyone will be trying to avoid 7th month thus wen it end, all will be rushing for their PS.......

Yes Stnov, i also think it's better to do PS earlier. However given my current disastrous haircut, i need more time to grow out my ugly hair before i do my PS :P

Ya, white gold is "bai jin" which means $$$ for funeral. I wanted to buy white gold initially coz i still can wear. But due to auspicious reasons, my parents in law n parents prefer me to take yellow gold so i chose all diamonds so that the gold wont show so much..hehehe...

I thnk can start to buy now. After the gold price shoot up, i quickly went to buy juz in case it gets more expensive. Maybe u can go shop shop and see what u like 1st n then quickly buy to avoid the GST increase. I thnk can try Poh Heng ba...they have quite nice gold designs if u want...

When is ur AD? My AD is 28th Sept. My dad said 4 mths b4 cant attend weddings and my mum said 3 mths. Since Adrian and my hubby are close colleagues so we take the 3 mths "belief". The photos I took are just the decor, favour, menu only leh....Didnt take the couple photos. Hehehe.... U have multiply acct? I will upload into the FRF album. The music was not too bad but I thnk i will not be getting the band although its quite a good idea. The dancing session is by Adrian and Pamela's relatives. Very lively and cheerful wedding. Very unique I think.

I finished my PS le....But I haven't buy anything for Guo Da Li..... Got tips for me ma? I asked my mom two weeks ago... but she blur blur....Coz i am the eldest mar... So i asked my MIL and she said oni buy the following... Can help me check?
Items:
1) 12 oranges with "Xi" stickers
2) 2 bottles of orange syrup
3) 1 tea set (But i heard of 2 tea sets)
4) 2 oil lamps
5) 5 coloured food stuff(dried waterlily, lotus seeds, red dates, long gan, bai2 guo3)
6) 1 baby basin

hmm... wat i noe is oranges is bought by hubby side one leh.. how come is Bride side leh? unless im wrong man.. then other than the basin is the potty leh.. then your mummy gotta get you a luggage to place some of your stuff in it so that on the day itself, your hubby will bring it back wif him.. then my mom told mi tt she will also put a pack of salt in the luggage so tat we will have "yan" wif my in law side... somethin like will get along wif them lo.. so gam ah, i also the eldest lo..

i very blur with this selection of locations leh...last time when i sourcing for BS...some BS tell mi the photographer will meet up with us before the PS to discuss the locations...but i dun rem whether my BS did say that...but i was told that i would meet the photographer only on that day...so how to tell them wat locations i wan? then i dunno whether the photographer will have anywhere in mind or not leh...very lost...

anyway i also have not much idea about any nice locations except sentosa...:P

Hi stargal, how abt u call up your BS to request for a discussion with the photographer? Different BS / PG works differently.

I have many place in mind but I know sure have no time to go to so many places for my PS :P I "shortlisted" these:

SAM / ACM / Old Parliament House / The Arts House / Supreme Court / Fullerton / Raffles Hotel / National Museum (I'm a sucker for colonial-looking buidings)
Botanic Garden / Labrador Park
Clarke Quay (first date with hubby here)
Red Dot Museum
Sentosa

Hi All..

I m back... Had a great nite at the hotel although jasmine is not around but dun worry, other staffs from furama riverfront are good too. Halim, did a great job and we are happy with their service...

My PG also very good and fun to be with... He also help us a lot during the day and nite...

Overall... that day was excellent...

Ashley...that's a lot of places u have in mind there...mi n my hubby are not "photo-taking" pple...so never think so much...hehe...i'll consider those mentioned places though...n yah i think i'll give my BS a call tomolo to ask...juz to set my mind at ease...
