No probs gals.

Good idea Jul! let me check with them if there is additional cost.

Hi Quack,

Yeah. i feel bad eating endangered animals. :p
True, gather more feedbacks on the foods first before you go into details.

Hi Beary,

How are you? Hope things are going on well for you? Remember we were on the topic of printing invites? In the end, i decided on hot stamping on the leafy invites, with a English couples picture on the left side (the groom wear a tall hat carrying his bride)quite cute to me. :p And i bought some double happiness sticker to paste on the front page. And i bought some silver ribbons as well. So intend to use the ribbons for close friends and double happiness stickness for relatives (to please them)

Guess that is the most cost effective way i can think of. Thanks for your wonderful ideas tho.

Hi Brides,

If you need any projectors, audio equipment, can contact this guy. Sim @ 9743-2423. His price is reasonable, less than $200 and very reliable.

Cheers!

Hi there, just wondering if anyone has managed to book a ballroom for dates in 4th quarter 2008? Don't know if FS is open for 2008 booking yet...

how many coordinators do they have at four seasons? lewis, and eugene, and any one else? who is better - probably more approachable and perhaps more generous with perks?

Fanny, i believe tat all coordinators are great and approachable. They're in general helpful and if ur request is within ur limit, they would definitely accede to ur request. E.g., waiver of 2 bottles of hard liquor, but not waiver of 10 bottles of wine. Or u request for early chk in, but not free room.

Hi 4 seasons girls! did anyone manage to get waiver of corkage in your contract? I didn't manage to before signing. Now am wondering if its possible after signing the contract.

Hi all,

just collected my invitation cards from AWT yesterdae b4 popping over to jiang nan chun for food tasting. Food was GOOD! spoke to the chef and we actually tried the yan paste, the western dessert but din like it then eventually the chef brought out the mango dessert for us! we love it and decided to stick with the original mango dessert.

i think gettin a waiver on corkage is almost impossible..unless u forfeit ur hotel stay? not sure have not tried it yet.

really feelin excited abt my wedding in March already..have decided on the table cloth, plates colors etc but just havent decided on the table floral piece design.

MadHatter, I would say almost impossible to get waiver for all wine. But my CO allows us to bring in 2-3 bottles of hard liquor free of corkage.

food was really good?

schnauzie - pls share with me which menu did you choose. also what are the individual dishes you have chosen.

perhaps the chef is not good with yam paste, but better in western dessert? i shall rem to taste the mango dessert (if i sign with them)

anyone has pics of the ballroom with full decor? and did anyone seen their bridal suite - how was it?

i did ask if i can forfeit one night stay to exchange for stuff, but seems like FS is not able to do so for us. rather strict lo.

Hi all.

Beary,
Can you email me the photographs of the crescent ballroom too please? I am currently in the UK and won't be able to actually see the room before booking it. =)
[email protected]

Thanks!!
I'm thinking of the crescent ballroom for about 12 tables in 08... all the menus they've given me sounds good!!

no leh. i only got their agreement like 6 days ago (if you also count sat & sun), but already felt that they are keep asking me to sign - been like at least 4 calls asking me when to meet to sign.. nvm felt so pressurised by by other hotels. gosh! not even 14 days yet.

perhaps really someone is interested?? but i did not hear FS say so le.

besides we havent seen their bridal suite and the full decor yet (muz choose a day when there is a wedding going on). when i told my colleague im selecting FS, she told me her fren had 'blacklisted' this hotel after they had tummy ache/food poisoning after the wedding dinner there. i guess its just a one time event. they muz hv been unlucky.

Hi Brides, I chanced upon somewhere (cant rem which forum) that you can rent projectors for only $80. Let me try to look for the contact again.

Btw, can I know which coordinator speaks Mandarin comfortably?

Also read that their sound system is lousy. Is it true? Anyone knows?

Hi Fanny

Can look for Mr. Sim at 9743 2423 for the projecters but if needs to conect 2 projectors, you still need to rent the splitter from him!

Cheers!

The western dessert looks lovely but found it abit too sweet for mass liking..and we cannot finish it! quite a huge portion..maybe we were just too filled up with the previous 8 courses

Hi all,

I've booked the Four Seasons for a wedding sometime end this year. Have been busy looking for bridal studios.

Does anyone of you gals know the themes we can choose for the decoration? I remember Lewis saying white or brown or ivory.....anyone has any idea? Is the black theme still there? I'm trying to plan the colour of my EG - don't want it to clash!!

Guys,

We have signed up with 4 seasons for the big day this end year too. but heard from my mom that actual day food was only passable at best.

Anyone here went to an actual day banquest at 4 seasons? Would love to have your take on the quality of the food. Same experience with my bro in law @ Hyatt. Food was great at tasting but only so so on AD. Cheers.

Regards

Hi all 4 Seasons Brides!

Which florists does 4 Seasons tie up with? What are their prices like & will the rates be better than if we were to source for our own florists seperately? Which one would you recommend in terms of quality and service? I'm planning to book my dinner with 4 seasons in a few months.

Please share your experiences here.Thanx (^_^)

Hi all
Really like crescent ballroom but dinner on the date i wanted is already booked. The wedding planner suggested lunch (sit down, 8 course chinese). Any feedback on the lunch package with them?
