I have a life. Already went to france and met my bf family. I am now trying to learn french and develop an american accent to my english because his sister is in the US and cut all singlish otherwise they can't understand. It is a disgrace to be associated to losers like the singaporean men. You should just wake up and start getting a real bf like a caucasian from europe or US. Once you have a caucasian bf you will never want to have a singaporean man as bf. Singaporean men are only good to be back up plans or temporary solution while you continue searching for a real bf. Use the women charter and get as many money from them as possible so you can start a new life with a real bf. I got mine and now i am able to start anew.

The stereotypical Sarong Party Girl has extremely tanned skin, a false foreign accent and is provocatively dressed. The Sarong Party Girl stereotype in local entertainment is usually portrayed as gold-digging, husband-snatching Asian women. This perception contributed much to Singapore's decadent image in the 1970s, as seen in films such as Saint Jack.

Due to these stereotypes, women who are classified as SPGs have to endure negative sweeping statements. Nowadays SPGs are no longer identified by a unique dress code or appearance. Any local woman who prefers to mix with males of a Caucasian ethnicity, or seeking them as their romantic partner will be seen as an 'SPG'. For certain, SPG will never admit their fetishism towards white men by giving all kinds of pretexts. However, by observing their habits and behavior, it's prominent to identify these unique characteristics"./ "An SPG is commonly perceived as a racist and Caucasian fetishist who discriminates their own community and race, while showing a favoritism towards their preferred supreme races

You are just plain jealous. Once you get a new caucasian bf you will realise how stupid you have been.

Singaporean man pretending to know france. Typical egoistic useless singaporean man. So typical the type who whines about national service and about their women being snatched by foreigners.

I will restrain myself from any derogatory remarks. But it takes actual experience to comprehend the varying effects of national service has on every individual.

While I genuinely believe that you have found yourself a good catch of conventionally superior origins, but you have failed to take note of the changing times we are experiencing globally. Superiority is no longer confined racially and those who cannot recognize this metamorphosis will quickly be rendered obsolete.

Sorry, but I’m a Singaporean girl married to a French man, living in France. Unlike you, my husband is real and I’m living the french dream. La vie est belle pour moi, mais vous, je pense pas.

yup, that y i am saying she is just day dreaming. She just get to know a french man, and started falling in love, without understanding the culture and habit oft he person and country, and boasting here how great french man are.
we are not living in fairy land, its most important to have a mam have is stable emotionally and financially than having a man who go around being romantic and doesn't cared for a real relationship.

Trying to be fair and neutral, I think she is comparing her new bf to her ex husband who fell into difficult circumstances. A marriage is about 2 person facing difficulties together as a couple but to her, it is only about how much can you give me, myself and I. So she is very vocal about how inferior local men are compared to westerners. I believe she does have a westerner as bf otherwise she won't be so bold to denounce local men. It is very difficult for local men to compete against westerners when it comes to women as can be seen from her, a privilege to have a white man as bf. Though she is not everything of the Singaporean women yet we cannot deny the prevalence of her kind. Skin colour first and the emotional and financial stability you speak of often comes after reality sinks in. But unfortunately, the local men by now would have been phased out of the race when there was no starting line to begin with.
Quite understandably, many local women do not have much regards for local men in general. While there are indeed undesirable local men, there are also very good local men around too. Let us not forget that French or Singaporean, men will be men. Good and bad can be found in the same group.

Hi all,

Anyone know what is the lastest ruling for Woman’s charter? If the wife earns more than husband, can we still claim maintenance?

Please do not click on reply my post but start a fresh post. I’m getting PM from ppl that they can’t reply. Sorting this out with admin. But meanwhile, really need some help!

She must be really stupid to think that one SG man is rubbish = all SG men are rubbish. I mean like seriously, you ask 10 out of 10 women, they won’t even make such a comparison. She is just lying about her french bf from the way she describes him.

You can file for maintenance regardless of your pay. But whether the judge approves it, depends on your standard of living before the divorce, who’s feeding the kids, income gap differences, years you both have been married, etc.

From her description, i think her exhusband is a decent guy who happens to have run into a bad patch.

Not all local women are like her but she indeed disrespects her ex husband. Maybe you aren't that type but i think many local women don't have much regards about local men that's why they have this scary attitude just that this catherina is shamelessly vocal about it.

Not really true. Majority of the Singaporean women marry a local man. And I being a woman. I don’t look down on sg men. To me, they are the same as foreigner. Cathrina is a fake to irritate us.

You then is the shameless one. Local men like you scotchtape salesman work for 3M is it? Cannot even get a good username? Local women don't have much regards about local men. That's true. But why don't you ask yourself why is this happening? Instead of blaming local women, why don't you go and upgrade yourself? So you don't have to marry a prostitute!

Scotch is another slang for scottish whisky. I'm an enthusiastic scottish whisky drinker. Appreciating good leisure drinks are one of the hobbies I started developing while caught in a toxic marriage with your kind. In fact this is true for many of my friends. Although we might not have as much problems your ex husband had pertaining to race, your ghastly sense of entitlement resonates well into our experience. I tried to upgrade but upgrading varies so It might not be academically, judging my 300% increase in annual income in the last decade without a degree, yeah, that's quite ok. I'm Not sure if your new french husband is considered an upgrade as your ex husband seem to have One of the best traits in men; Self sacrifice for his wife during even his worst days. So if your french husband isn't interested in doing likewise will equate to a downgrade. One of the upgrades i got was to switch from a wife like your type to one who takes care of me, stands by me even during bad days. Pretty and highly sought after, yet she stayed faithfully with me. Looks wise, Yeah... that's a massive upgrade of unimaginable scale. Feeling wise, character wise, wow... the scales broke upwards. She happens to be a prc and if you haven't notice, the prc are on the road to greater success, with so many choices to go for, good and bad, pretty and ugly... well if i can shop at a hypermart why settle for a provision shop? You are unfortunately close to a public toilet. So ermm... no thanks. I thank your french husband for taking the bullet for the team. I stand up and raise my pint "prost" as how my employer always say. He has my respect and condolences. Haha..

Blaming local women is an overstatement. But I have seen a strong number of local women having your character driving men crazy. So I prefer the prc, Vietnamese or thai naturally. You said i married a Prostitute? By the way, she was a virgin when we did it the first time. Haha... by now, with my teachings, yeah she serves me way better than you can Imagine. My ex wife couldn't even bother to move her fat lazy body down to the gym to stay fit or just to reduce her fats and stay healthy. She is even too lazy to cook that i had to do for her always. Never even bothered to learn to cook. How do i expect her to even take responsibility for others when she doesn't even take responsibility for herself?

I might sound blunt but you deserve the harsh language to wake you up.

Cathrina should just PM the people that she’s not happy with. The rest of us don’t need to know all the non sense about SG or foreign women/men are better. There are good and bad men and women around the world.

Cathrina do understands that her:
Father = Singaporean man
Brother (if she has any) = Singaporean man
Uncle = Singaporean man
Grandfather = Singaporean man
Nephew = Singaporean man (even if your siblings marries a foreigner, their kids will still be 50% Singaporean)
Your future son = at least 50% Singaporean

And by saying SG men are useless, you are hinting that all the guys in your family are useless?

You are so disgusting so typically singaporean men. No wonder you have to marry a prc and not a local.

Hi

Other than the troll above, I cannot find any good advises on filing for divorce. I’ve just met my lawyer and she told me that the assets will he split according to the contribution. This includes my own personal savings. Can anyone share it this is basis on a contested divorce or is this the norm?

Yes my own personal savings. If he contest to split matrimonial assets. Cause I earn more than him but we have a joint account too which we contribute 50-50. But my personal savings is also considered matrimonial assets

Did you do a will after you marry? If yes, I believe the will helps to settle such issues.

I highly doubt it will happen. The judge will give it all to you. No worries
Thanks. I’m filing on the basis of adultery. So I thought I got a winning case for child custody and maintenance. Until the lawyer told me the judge will also divide our assets including Personal savings and cpf. I feel that this lawyer is not acting on my best interests. Anyone can share their lawyer contact?

The lawyer is right.The judge will divide but divide give you all or 95% is still "divide" lol.

If you are the husband then yes worry.

Trust me in these forums you Will never see the ex wives angry over division of assets, is always the ex husbands.

Even if you were the one who committed adultery i give you good odds to get what you want.

Relax it's called the woman's charter for a reason.
Not true. My lawyer said I can’t get alimony because I earn more. Although the chance of him contesting is low but my lawyer said unless my hub is crazy to contest even tho it was him who committed adultery. The woman charter only favors woman who doesn’t work or earn less.

Your lawyer is not good enough. The women's charter makes sure that you will get a portion of your ex husband's assets even if he has none. You don't have to split it with him. In fact you can destroy his life and force him to commit suicide then you will get all he has. Just get a better lawyer. Make him pay for disrespecting women's rights. Maybe you might also want to check with aware if you need help.

Huh? So many cases ex husband earning less pay alimony. Plus child support is different thing?

Is your husband unemployed or what?

You are wrong. The women's charter helps us get what we deserve regardless. It can also help to destroy those useless local men who have affairs.
