Considering annulment, contacts for lawyers?

I'm a male who is going through a massive misery now. After less than a month of marriage, wife has left our home claiming mental stress and illness. She is unwilling to return for an indefinite period of time and refuses to see me or my family to resolve our differences. I might have been harsh with my words but I just had intentions to resolve our differences in a new marriage.

Feeling at a total loss and distraught. I have given my wife almost everything she demanded in the relationship - expensive engagement ring, marriage this year, expensive resale flat. I just feel totally betrayed for all I have done and given to her...

Anyone who has gone through annulment before? I desperately need some answers before I engage a lawyer.
The biggest question weighing me down is how does HDB compensate for the flat which has not reached the minimum occupancy period. I am very afraid the HDB loan debt will crush me for a very long period of time.

Also does anyone have a reliable and good lawyer to recommend? What are his/her charges like for consultation?

sorry to hear about your situation.. it seems like she's in it just for the expensive ring and flat and leaving you once she gets these in her possession. btw u said you were harsh with your words? i strongly suggest you try to keep calm and be more civil with your words/actions as she might use it against you in court. just tahan abit more until this is over.. u have to show the judge that you tried to please her to the best of your abilities by satisfying her expensive wishes and being a good husband.

anyway, annulment only works if you think you can prove that your marriage is either void or voidable. so you might want to think of how that can be applied to you?

if that doesn't work, you can only get a divorce within 3 years of marriage if you can prove that she caused you :

1. Extreme mental distress.
2. Physical or mental spousal abuse.
