I am a Conrad Bride in 2008. Just to let u know the weekday package is $928+++ per table of 12, which translates to $90.5 per head. Weekend package is $1138 which translates to $111 per head.

How is the food? Is it nice? Which dishes?
Pretty anxious but not sure what to expect.

Was good overall...very generous portions...

Mine is a weekend package coming up on a Friday in this mth, kinda VERY late to do food tasting nw n the best thing is I hafnt even thot abt the decor :P

We had 2 menus to choose frm for foodtasting but was allowed to inter-switch the menu items. The portions were v generous, esp the sharksfin dat came in a small soup-pot each, very thick...
But agree dat the fish was tough (overcooked). But even my in-laws oso said its nt realli possible for hotel dinners to haf perfect fish cuz there r simply too many tables (thk they boil the fish n not reali steam it wan). But the rest of the dishes was innovative n tasty, display was quite modern oso. For eg, I selected a yamring+scallop+prawns dish, was expecting a big yam ring but it came small yam rings on indiv scallops, great for indiv servings...

U guys might wan to consider not having indiv servings during AD? It kinda allows mre interactions on the table within the guests n oso, it doesnt slow down the food-serving process, food oso dont get cold easily.

I've just sign up with conrad to hold my wedding on a weekend in Oct08. I'm given a complimentary room for ROM from 6-7pm only. earlier will be subject to availability.
coordinators day room will also be subject to availablilty. tsk tsk!

I am really keen in Conrad too, looking at a Friday in Nov or Dec 2008 as all the Saturdays are booked. Can I know what are the additional perks that I can try to request for as Conrad's perks is definitely not one of the better ones around. =(

Does your wedding fall on a fri or sat? If it is, probably it wont be enuf, cos people tend to drink more. whats more its 12pax to a table. Have you sign on the dotted line already? otherwise u can try to negotiate for it again.

I guess probably why they gave me waiver for wines is because mine falls on a sunday.
 
Just visited them yesterday. No mention. I do know they are revamping the ballroom deco and wedding favour. Really nice place but weekends in 08 is pretty out. Lunches are available still

hi, i understand that conrad only have 2 wedding favours like chocolate & cake. Does anyone know will there be any changes to their wedding favours or menu for conrad?
 
hihi... juz wanna drop a comment on conrad... juz had my wedding last dec... and all i can say is thumbs up!! my coordinator is Sun Sun... though she is new but she is a really nice lady and professional!

if elders are not patang.. go with the black and gold theme.. we had that and it's nice! =) so for future brides that are going to have their wedding there... rest assured cos it will be a fantastic night! cheers!!

I managed to get my coordinator to throw in a 2 nite stay...my AD falls on a sunday.

Depending on wha you want... you may like to get your coordinator to throw in another room (perhaps for parents) instead of a 2 nite stay.
 
hi momo... i dunno abt the rules now... but for my wedding last dec, their flowers are all ivory... that is for the aisle and VIP tables, ivory roses and the rest of the tables ivory orchids.... but to bring out the black and gold theme, we went with red.... that is red roses and orchids... for that i need to top up $500++ though

I just had my wedding a few days ago and Conrad is just great. You gals should try the Scalet theme it really nice in my opinion

I highly recommend my coordinator, Jeannie. Her service is excellent
