I just had my food tasting done 2 days ago..
Was good overall...very generous portions...
Mine is a weekend package coming up on a Friday in this mth, kinda VERY late to do food tasting nw n the best thing is I hafnt even thot abt the decor
We had 2 menus to choose frm for foodtasting but was allowed to inter-switch the menu items. The portions were v generous, esp the sharksfin dat came in a small soup-pot each, very thick...
But agree dat the fish was tough (overcooked). But even my in-laws oso said its nt realli possible for hotel dinners to haf perfect fish cuz there r simply too many tables (thk they boil the fish n not reali steam it wan). But the rest of the dishes was innovative n tasty, display was quite modern oso. For eg, I selected a yamring+scallop+prawns dish, was expecting a big yam ring but it came small yam rings on indiv scallops, great for indiv servings...
U guys might wan to consider not having indiv servings during AD? It kinda allows mre interactions on the table within the guests n oso, it doesnt slow down the food-serving process, food oso dont get cold easily.
