i was at my mil's place last year and everyone was commenting on what good skin the husband's cousin had - my bil's then-gf asked me, don't you think she has such good skin? and i was so confused. you see, she had freckles all over her face and arms and in the western world, that means she has good skin cos only 'baby' skin can get freckles whereas in asia, having good skin means having unblemished fair skin .. and how some ladies can spend money on going for IPLs etc to achieve that ..

just one of the many differences on the definition of beauty , i suppose ..

btw dodo, i think freckles are nice .. but i don't have them myself

my dog was a mongrel and i got it from Jurong Pier Road when the SPCA was collecting those dogs n cult them during the SARS period...his name is buddy but now with my ex wife, i missed that stupid mongrel...and my jack russel.

they are sooooo cute together but too bad i dont have place to harbour them...

That HK Cafe is my favourite hangout with family. I love the fish meat "mui fan", spring rolls, mua ji, Macau fried rice, assorted mushroom congee, etc, etc, etc. Hee

Aaron, my Boi is very guai leh. Even groomer also gives him the thumbs-up for good behaviour on grooming table. He is vocal but means no harm.
