btw, green.. would u be interested to get a LCD monitor for your PC? I am thinking of selling mine... 17 inch.

my desktop also quite good. wanna buy? hehe

i interested in your LCD monitor..if u sell it at a reasonable price i will get it from u. other wise i will get a new but not so branded one. how long have u been using it?

Window vista???? god bless you...many friends of mine switch back to Win XP due to alot of software issues...

Mozilla fox is like another type of explorer like window explorer or netscape. for me is more user friendly and easy to use. Your will need some basic programs like winzip, winrar, Adobe reader, anti virus softwares etc depends on your work requirement. And dont not support piracy...cos our "friends" are watching us, depends whether they wanna catch us or not.

Interesting piece of news from Malaysia that I saw online. I wondered how she arrived at the claim amount.

Woman sues for loss of virginity on false promise
*********************************************************

Fri, Apr 04, 2008
New Straits Times

In what is believed to be the first such case in the country, a woman is suing her husband for causing her to lose her virginity to him on a false promise.

In her civil suit the 30-year-old teacher is claiming S$1.3 million (RM3 million) in damages. And she wants the court to declare the marriage null and void.

In the suit filed at the Kuching High Court three weeks ago, she also named her parents-in-law for "inducing their son to breach the contract of marriage", and for the "humiliation and mental torture" she suffered at their hands.

The woman met her husband in 2006 while she was still in university. After they had been dating for a few months, she claimed he asked her to sleep with him, promising to marry her and "take care of her".

In her suit, she said the night she spent with him in a hotel was her first experience.

Their marriage was registered not long after, but they never went through the Chinese customary marriage rites due to objections from her parents-in-law

Her in-laws deemed her a misfit, "a bad woman" and vowed never to make her part of the family, her lawyer Ernest Chua said today.

The woman said in her suit that her parents-in law started pressuring her husband to divorce her towards the end of last year.

"What she has is a marriage on paper only. It's not the kind we all know and the kind all women want. It's a marriage obtained by misrepresentation," said Chua.

green i didnt watch any movies or dvds since the laz time i told u all keke the only shows i've watched recently r fashion shows hahah

Maybe like those ancient martial art flim. She had a red dot on her upper arm that signifies virginity haha

Nowdays you can sue for anything

hei bee, more hi-tech...maybe she took a print out of a white cloth with blood stain to claim her virginity leh? hahaha...

Doll,
There are many flavours to choose for bubble tea haha. If u dun want so sweet, u can go for plain red tea or green tea. These contain more bitterness of the tea. Milk tea is sweeter definitely.

The one at Sun plaza is the best after I tried out different locations. Its bubble tea has stronger tea aroma and not so sweet hehe.

I like the Japanese milk tea in a can which used to be available at some 7-Eleven outlets. Not sweet and the milk and tea leaves taste are strong. Last time we would drink a can every week when we dropped by the petshop. Can't find anymore.

Actually, the guy did fulfilled his promises of marrying her wat. So she can't sue on grounds of false promises. And anyway, promises are not legally binding.

Think she will stand a higher chance if she pitch her case to one where she is seeking damages arising from emotional distress by her in-laws. But for RM3 million, I think it is absurb. The article also never says that the husband is joining forces with his parents against her.

I pity the poor chap somehow. Got caught in between now. But anyway, believe what the newspaper wrote with a pinch of salt.

Green, but the petshop that I go to every week is at Sunset Way. Just a habit formed over time - Japanese milk tea after getting pet supplies.

green, wah such as high craving arh? must get now??? hahahhaa...is it the only stall in sun plaza? which is the mrt station nearer to sun plaza?? i don't know how to drive there so i have to take mrt...hahaha

Gallie, Sembawang MRT. If go by car from where you live (Holland V?), take PIE-BKE and exit Woodlands Ave 2. And then you are on your own liao hehe

OK, here is what I think - This woman is suing her husband based on a misrepresented marriage, that differed from what she initially understood what a marriage would be. For example, if they only had sex once and that was all, then this isn't a marriage that she thought it should be.

tq ms mobile street directory (doll) for your street guidance...hehehe...

any idea what they have in sun plaza besides coffee bubble tea?? hahaha...like nice clothing cater for bigger size woman like me & nice shoes? need to stock up some new clothings & shoes...

gallie jie,
call me wen u r cming ar... keke...

Doll,
shld be exit ave 12 den u will reach gambas den straight down is sunplaza liao
