Boss's favourtism

Wondering is it normal for all bosses to favor staff whom he had personally recruited than those senior staff who has been in the company for years but not recuited by the new boss?

Is it normal that there are so many questions asking if things are normal? So what if it is normal or not. You are the one facing and working with your boss. Not me nor anyone else.

This kind of poll is really pointless and we are seeing more such polls everytime. What has and will it achieve?

Favoritism can be subjective too. No matter how impartial or profession managers try to be, some of the staff can still perceive it differently. Anyway, its human to have preferences. As professional as one wants to be, we are all affected by our perceptions and preferences.

My boss like this lady alot. give her gifts. the other boss like that guy alot and bring him out for dinner. so what....

when u are boss u are have like and dislike. but end of the day is you are an employee who are there to perform be productive and if your boss don like you, you don like your boss, u have a mkt value or u feel undervalued. feel free to fly. well i don mind boss do not favour me but mkt favour me.

i like employees who are willing to go that extra mile and perform well with little supervision. they score brownie points if they get along well with the rest of the team.

I agree with with Who?Me?.
I like these employees too. They allow me to have a peace of mind so that I can concentrate on the more impt task.

I also like employees who are willing to stay back and help me out when I have urgent case.
They agree happily even though I give them a very short notice.

With such good employees, how can the Bosses treat them equally with the average employees.
