anyone has IUD? Gynae suggested it as I always forget to eat my pills and hubby dun want to use condom. Does it hurt to have it inserted? I read somewhere that menses could be more painful and heavier as well. Is this true?

I think all birth control pills require a prescription? Went to see my gynae jen shek wei to get pills and he said to come back until i get my period for him to prescribe. he also told me to see him after a month to check how i'm doing. if too many side effects he will prescribe another pill that may be better accepted by my body.
