Hi Guys,
It is ok to drill holes on our fabricaed toilets? Like having cabinets in out toilets or glass top?

these few days i seemed to like things that are going to be discontinued or phased out. First, went to All Best and saw this Panasonic Inverter Fridge which looks quite nice then i was told by Panasonic that it had been discontinued and have no information on the new replacement. The next day, i was looking out for my bedroom TV and thought about buying this Samsung 26" LCD TV and again, when i checked with Samsung i was told that the model 26R71BAX had been phased out and will be replaced by 26A something... it is not available in retailers yet.

Cheapest LCD and Tv is at katong warehouse. Cheapest deal!

It’s fine to drill the toilet walls, DIY a few myself
Just need to noe that the concealed water pipes run vertically downwards from the tap
Mixer
U will hit a metal plate when u drill the wall, it’s alright
Then need to change ur drill bit into a screw-driver bit tat can screw a SELF-TAPERED screw into the metal plate, that will hold. No need to use nail/screw anchors

It at katong mall, it a warehouse shop known as mega discounXXXX and my parents bought the tv from them before and have been using it since many years, so no prob. The saleperson is known as vinson.Not bad guy. I bought hitachi plasma and it made in Japan!!!

ryan, we saw at Asia Excel.
To us, sinks are just sink. No need so high end. Sin Siang Choon can get $100+ but i think the thickness of the sink not as good as the other brands - heard from the salesperson from Asia Exel. Better check again.
we got from Asia Exel becoz the rest of the stuff from them, so might as well get the sink as well.

Anyone here using a gas instant heater? i am using one and i find it very very good. As good as the hotel.. i got it free when i was applying for citygas. but apparently since ours is a premium flat, we cant knock it into the toilet wall.. as we do not know where are the water and electrical pipes as it is concealed. just be careful about knocking anything into the toilet wall.

As for water pipes, u can look at ur kitchen toilet, top corner just behind the wooden wall
There are 2 water pts (1 is hot water pt, the other cold water pt) connected by a protruding pipe
need to drill through that kitchen wall n connect ur heater to the 2 pts
ur plumber should noe this

As they do w/o a shop n rental, very competitive prices, n they deliver to ur home within 24hrs with no surcharge

1 amazing feature abt the citygas gas water heater is that it’ll detect water flow in ur hot water pipe when u turn to right with ur tap mixer
sensing the water flow in the hot water pipe, the battery will ignite the gas water heater to start burning
so once u off the tap, the heater immediately stop provide hot water
so this will solve the problem of forgetting abt switchin off instant heater ïŠ

anywhere i can buy a TV-console that is less than 45 in depth?
After placing the king size bed, my walking space till the wardrobe is quite limited. I don't intend to mount the TV on the wardrobe.
So have to get a TV console that is not that wide in depth. So far, the standard 1 i saw is ard 45 to 50. A shoe cabinet depth will be ideal but it is kinda weird to use a shoe cabinet as tv console.

think we will get new visitors to this forum and i think they will bang their heads on the wall knowing how much it was before.. if we go down this weekend surely a lot of people one because the new balloting ends next wednesday so they only have this weekend.

my contractor and plumber did not dare drill hole into the toilet.. they use a metal detector and than They say if drill than knock the pipe, they will not be responsible. So in the end we install a electric instant heater into the toilet and we use the gas heater for our kitchen. haiz
