Auspicious Wedding Dates

We went to long shifu too. Nice grandfatherly person but he calculated my dates wrongly. My English DOB is correct but lunar one he gave me wrongly. So we had to get him to recalculate. He is nice n apologetic n immediately recalculated the dates. Shit do happens at times but at least he was responsible enuff. Just that his procedures of an chuan is rather modern? Like ppl always says cannot sleep on nuptial bed, but long shifu say must sleep for ren qi. Kinda worried the old folks at home wont agree.

I managed to contact Long Shifu to calculate suitable AD date for me. He did reply an sms saying that he will get back in 1-2 days time and fees are at 100.

However, a few queries b4 i arrange to meet him:
1) besides AD dates, what should I be expecting from him?
2) all the dates that he give can be use for GDL, An Chuan etc izzit?
3) n how should I pay him when i visit him? juz pay directly or have to use a red packet?

1)what ever you need to know he will tell n teach you. not to worry.
2)yup all the dates he gave you are the date that can be use for you n your husband only.
3)i used red packet to pay him... =)

Long shifu is good... =)

for ladies who consulted Long shifu, did you gave him your birth time together with your DOB? i'm trying to engage his service, got his sms and saw he require time of birth...

felt bit uneasy give birth time cos from young, my mum always warn of letting pple know ur birth time leh...Or, can i just give him a rough guide like what hour or something??..~help!!

Hope someone can reply me soon..i'm still waiting to reply Long shifu....
 
Hi, can I know after you all called Long Shifu, how long he will sms to you for the details he needs? Cos, I've waited few hours, he still not sending any sms to me? Is he very good business? Should I call him again? haha quite dissapointed

Heard so much raves abt tis long shifu. HTB & Me intend to ask him to chose our AD date as well for 2010.

To be fair, i saw some said the dates given doesn't tally.. well if they calculate by our D.O.B and timing.. its another way. Cause for my ROM which is calculate by another shifu, it wasn't stated a good date in the tong shu in 2008 as well. And things goes on well for us olso.

Personally if he charges $100 for reading, i am ok as long as he is professional. I asked another one who is very famous, his asking price is $388 for calculation till 2010.

I believe Long shifu will definitely get back to you. He needs time to calculate the readings and he has got face-to-face appointments too.

For your info, the Long Shifu totally never ask me like name, DOB & etc. He sounds in phone also quite relunctant. I think maybe he really very busy. Anyway, we will try to look for other Shifu.

YC&XL, i don't have the shifu contact, the one i went to for my ROM is @ Fu Lu Shou. The shop next to the 4D shop.

The other shifu that quoted us $388 is the one in marine parade. Can get his no. for the u-weekly mag.

for your info, i had went to 2 shifu...... the first one i got really bad experience, then i turn to daivd for help.

all i can say he's great!

Nope, he has no reply to us. We feel he very funny lo, our conversation less than 3 sentences & he keeps wanted to hang up the phone. I think we might called him in a wrong timing haha!!!

Anywhere we would not go back to him anymore. Such a weird guy lo.
 
Can i check with those who went to Long shifu, how long does he get back to you after you given him the details?

This morning, we sms him and ard 4pm he sms back to say that the dates are ready for collection.. *amazingly fast*

for those who went to Long shifu, did he mention anything about the "bedhead lamps"? When I went to consult him for auspicious date, he did not mention. Just wondering whether the lamps are necessary?
 
he didn't mention to us too but its must to have. Usu those shop will help to get the stuffs ready when you are shopping for the necessary stuffs.

I just got my dates from long shifu also. Did he mention to anyone of u here that he had calculated the dates base on the zodiac sign on the day we are born and not the zodiac sign that we are born in the year of?

Eg, if born in yr of rat, doesnt mean u're rat but if ur day falls on zodiac sign dragon, he will calculate the dates based on dragon instead. If u refer to the booklet with ur bazi inside, u will realise that the "day" bazi were highlighted in red and u can find the zodiac below.

He said that this was the actual way, not the usual way of looking at the animal of the year. I have nv heard of this before, so was wondering if anyone encounter this as well?

Maybe this is also why some of u here finds that the date he picks dun seem to be gd for ur zodiac sign. Anyway, but if what he say is correct, then is also a bit contradicting cos he ask for both parent's zodiac sign and no birth date of parents are required. That means he wont be able to knw the zodiac sign on the day they were born (if u get what i'm trying to say earlier on).

Anyway, he's quite a fatherly figure and provide lots of advice on the essentials events. He surprise us with a few qns then we were like blur blur. lolx!

Hope to hear more opinions from u guys again.

I will hold my Actual Day in the morning and ROM solemnization on the same evening.

I plan to consult Master Long Tian Xiang and I understand he provides auspicious dates for up to 3 years.

Will he provide a date that is good for conducting ROM solemnization and AD all on the same day? Am very afraid he will ask me to hold these 2 events on seperate dates, as my original intention is to settle all in one day.

Please advise...thanks!

i just consulted Master Long Tian Xiang and i agree he is very professional. he described my fiancé and my bazhi to be very compatible and he said there is nothing much to clash on.

he also described both of our characters until mahjiam very good like that haha. my fiancé was asking does he say that to every couple? lol
 
GC : i agree with you, i dont think anyone calculates on the day you are born.i have asked so many people and they have never heard of it. Thus i think long sf is a hoax and i have wasted my money.
 
actually i have reconsulted him. GC his rationale for not using day of parents is bcoz thye r not so impt so no need so detailed. so i be following his advice!
 
hi gg, so did u encounter the same "prob" as me ie, actual zodiac is not the zodiac of the yr we are born with?

He did told us that if have to take into account of all the zodiacs in the family then no need to get married already cos sure someone will clash, and of cos me and htb 101% agree on tis (which i try v hard to convince mum)

Actually he sounds prof and i trust him, the thing is my mum is sceptical abt it as she has nv heard of such a thing before thus she dun trust wat he says. anyway, my friend says master long is related to You Long Zi (apparently a v famous geomancer??)

But anyway, me and htb trust master long and we already fixed our AD date accord to his recommendation. Just that it took me a long hard time to convince my mum and till now probably she is not 100% convince or happy but i dun really think so much abt it. But i already can predict probs when i need to do my GDL process
 
Jo Yong: dun worry u can hold ur ROM and Ad on same day as the days he calculated are good for ROM/AD/hse moving.

I also went to Master Long previously and felt that he’s good and professional. We followed whatever advices he has given.

Actually what I feel is ‘yong ren bu yi, yi ren by yong’. Direct translation means ‘only use the person if you trust him, if you don’t, then don’t use him’ : )
 
i agree with satinchris, if wanna consult him then dun be skeptical abt his words. and if u are not comfortable with it, juz look for another shifu. diff shifu has diff ways of doing.

he calculates the dates base on the zodiac sign on the day we are born and not the zodiac sign that we are born in the year of, cos he used our bazi to do that. few of my frds and me went to him for auspicious dates calculation. if he is really a hoax then i dun think he can survive in this industry for so long... afterall, this is a small market.
 
Hi, i'm thinking of getting wedding dates for 2nd half of 2011. Can i know how much does long shi fu charges? and how much does david tong charge as well? I've looked through a few websites, dates for 2011 are not out yet. Can the 2 masters help?

this is really the first time i hear it. if he is right then all the other shifus are wrong. coz he is the only one who uses day. can that be possible?
