I had tried Master Tong from one of the gals recommended in this forum and he is really gd.. Why did I say that? because of his after sales service. He will also give you a detailed explanation hw he comes out with the auspicious dates and ranking them from the best to the good dates. He also will provide you the GDL & An chuan dates but if you haven get your house yet, you can then approach him again with no additional charge. Everything is $100 and you can just approach him if you come across any queries or advise even after you pay. Highly recommended.

i am looking for a geomancer to check if the wedding date we selected for 2008 is good. we are not the very pantang type go to geomancer for the sake of pleasing my parents...just wanna see if the date clashes with our ba zi...i will like to have the contact of Master Jing Zi Long also, can anyone send me the contact at [email protected]

Highly recommended u just go to the shophouse opposite Bugis temple, level 2, just walk to the corner left end, u can find this uncle "ah shui". his charges is $20 only. Very accurate and good.

i went 2 geomancer recently. Ah Shui is one of them, $20. The other geomancer $160. Basically 2 geomancer give me the similar date. So i think no need to find other better geomancer la, its almost the same.

Jing ZiLong will not give u the wedding date on the spot. "Ah Shui" can calculate and give u on the spot. Sharp and sweet.
 
Hi, i'm new here, already had our ROM last Nov, plan to have our wedding next year, now looking for the master to decide the date, just wondering what info should i provide during the 1st call to make the appointment?

Do i need to go for second appointment after 1st app? means that will i get all the dates during 1st app?
 
hi, does anyone know normally when will the tong shu is out? I understand that year 2008 is out already. So just want to understand normally when they will publish such books.

i would like to complain.. condemn this so called reputble fengshui master in geylang.. YOU LONG ZI! even though this has happened for 3 weeks already but i'm still fuming mad as that idiot has given us the WRONG DATE! he actually wrote the wrong date on the consultation paper for us and silly us for believing him we happily booked our wedding dinner on that date.

my Future MIL went to see him before the tong shu was supposedly out.. we immed went to book the hotel that we like.. and a couple months later when the tong shu was out, i went online to check out of curiosity to see if the dates he has given us is good. and i was shocked to see that 20 Jan 08 is actually a very lousy date for marriage.. it specifically said "Bu Yi Jia Qu"... so i went to ask him during our second visit as we need him to give us the timing to leave house etc.

i asked him how did he come up with the dates.. he snapped at me very rudely immediately.. accused me of not trusting him.. but i said its weird that the tong shu will say that its not recommended for marriage, only then did he look at the piece of paper with the dates that he has written for us. he simply said oh i wrote wrongly.. and asked how come we didnt check!!! at that point of time i jumped and yelled at him.

and he refused to apologize, insisted that its alright.. and he wil pick a good timing for us.. what kind of crap is this? who wants a good timing on a lousy date.. he rest assured me saying that don't worry i guarantee your marriage will be fine! i was farking mad at this point of time already. he's already so old and 1 foot in the coffin.. wat can he guarantee? i didnt mean to be nasty but his f#$% up and irresponsible attitude really made my blood boil. the last straw was went he told us not to be so pantang... if we are not pantang why woud we pay $200 to go see him... he's ridiculous!

forgive my ranting pls but i think his actions needs to be highlighted here as i dun think he respects us as his client and he has no professionalism at all!
 
haha thats exactly what i told him.

if not pantang then still pay money to go see him for what?!

anyway hope other couples will read this before going to him... he's not the only fortune teller around anyway... so dunno why he's so yaya...

He has explained very clearly with us on how to do the neccessary ritual like an chuan and GDL and provided advices. His charges are reasonable too

Anyone has tried picking a date at Li's Feng Shui @ Fu Lu Shou? Hows the rate like if picking for AD? Do they charge additional for GDL & an chuan dates?

Hi everyone,

We went to Long shifu, based on the recommendations above. We found him really good - professional and detailed. He even print out all the data and bind it into a booklet. He gave us a whole list of dates to choose from. From now all the way till 2010. All these dates are 'huang dao ji ri' and can also be used for other purposes, like moving house, signing of contracts, etc.

He also taught us on the procedures of 'an chuang' and 'guo da li'. He told us that all these procedures are actually very simple and straightforward and asked us not to listen to old wives' tales and spend unnecessary money/effort.

Our $80 is really very well-spent, and we highly recommend him. A very nice and grandfatherly figure.
 
ya Long shifu is not bad ..

But if you are very pantang type ..

I would suggest you to ask him how he get the dates for you and on what biasis.

Cos some of the date that i got do not tally with the calander ..

Hi! Pinkie, share with u my 'story'...early last yr (2007) my future mum in law told me that shifu said Yr08 wedding date cannot check yet due tong shu not release yet. But me & my fiance need to plan early for our wedding preparation. So, I ask my own parents whose live in M'sia help me check out in Msia. Very funny that... M'sia that shifu manage calculate the date with the tong shu. Because of this... my fiance's mum hv a big fight with that S'poe shifu cos he is not 'capable'... not the tong shu problem.... U get what I mean....?!
 
Hi girls, I am planning for my wedding next year. However, I can't decided on the wedding date as my mum insists that I have to pick for an auspicious date. From my understanding, I need to wait for the "tong Shu" (chinese calendar) to be out before i can choose the date(dun know when it will be out), but I m keen to book the wedding dinner fast, as next yr 2009 is a popular year and hotels are being booked by others fast...I am eager to book fast as hotels are revising their prices too...

Is there an 'expressway' that i can take to get the date out fast? Does those geometry master able to pick a good date?

Can anyone please help? Tks...Find it difficult to do any planning without a proper date.
 
also what information are needed to predict the date...me and my bf's dob? Do they need my parents' and future parents' in law dob too? Tks.
 
hmmm.. actuallly i bked the hotel before consulting already as i really cant wait for tongshu .. haiz i wonder hw my future MIL will react ..
 
Hi ! Both parents DOB is needed, cos need to'check' got any animal year is 'xiang chong'. If u really urgent, can refer to 2009 calendar which got shows chinese calendar as well. U can select the date from there. Hopes it will help

Hi all I can help you with your date selection for free. No catch, just call it charitable Fengshui deed. Please PM me.

Basically I don't need to wait until the new year's tong shu is out before giving you some good dates. As such you'll be able to book your hotel earlier and avoid competition for good dates.

However to ensure that a good date is selected I'd need the dates and times of births of both the groom and bride. And to ensure that the important VVIPs can attend your ceremony or dinner, please also include their year of births.

For a start, 2009 being the year of the Ox, all dates belonging to the Goat/Ram should be avoided (ie. clash with Tai Sui).

We went to Long Shifu at Bullion Park last night! He is really a humourous person and makes both of us very comfortable. Like all others who highly recommend him, so do we. =)

Best thing is he provides dates up till 2010!!! (although we didn't need until then lar.. haha...) He also explained in detail how the dates are derived so there's no confusion. About whether the date will "clash" with other family members (incl parents), he provided us with a simple solution so that we don't have to worry about ANYONE "clashing".

All in all, very pleased and it was money well spent. =)

me and HTB went to long shifu too. indeed he is humourous and modern shifu. even tell us how to 'enhance' our marriage because of some missing stars.

to who went to long shifu,
just want to check if anyone asked him abt the box of information under our dates. that states some chinese characters then a age. anyone know whats that?

i think that one is for when you will hit "tao hua" luck... you can call long shifu to ask him to explain... he said that if anything not sure just give him a call. =)
 
I personally think that choosing a date and paying such money is something optional, but I think we should do it so that everyone will be pleased (e.g. parents, aunties etc).

Me and my WTB went to long shifu there as well, and as what everyone has said here, things are fine and he has explained clearly on what is required and what is optional. He has simplified things a lot and make them very clear - no crap at all - as a guy, I like his style a lot. My WTB was fine back then as well.

However, few days later, my WTB started to feel that the long shi fu has simplified things too much and doesn't sound credible. The date that he has given was not listed as good dates in the Tong shu etc. Then she also commented that the $80 is overpaid etc. Knowing her well, I think this is expected.

I am trying to stick to the original recommendation as suggested by long shi fu. I really hope that my WTB honey will be able to think the same way that I think - I may not be right all the time but if we felt comfortable at the moment when we were getting the advices from Long shi fu, why change our mind just because that some ppl from some forum posted some different opinions on those advices?

So lastly, I would really advise everyone who are going thru the wedding planning, communicate before you start action, as there will be many many different opinions trying to squeeze into your original plan, and it will be always impossible to please everyone.

Hi Prissie... I have just went to Long Tian Xiang to get my wedding dates.. He is detailed and will give alot of dates.

actually the date I chosen 23Dec09, as per one the of the online tong shu says that "unfavourable for wedding" but I check with him.. he say he do not refer to Tong shu, but calcuate based on our time & date ect.

Then I check one of my friend date whose wedding take place last year. Her date is given by You Long Zi & it states not not good for wedding too. But all went perfectly well and now she is a mum to be.
 
Prissie.. He has no website de.. Just give him a call, tell him wat you want.. Den he will ask u to sms yours n ur next half's birth date and birth time. Den he will do the calculation base on the birth dates n time you gave.. Den he will reply u thru sms, den arrange date n time to meet him.. By den, he will let you know his address le... JUst make a call to him @ 90675008 ba.. =D
 
I went to Long shifu also.. introduced by my cousin who is getting married in sept this yr.. and the impression me and hubby got from him was very good, fatherly figure. hehe, he patiently explained to us all sorts of things .. and being an extremely fussy girl, i am surprised that i am very satisified with his service.

Prissie, Don worry, long shifu will be able to calculate ur lunar birthdate based on the english birthdate if you got no idea of ur lunar birthdate

hi any1 need your advice,long shi fu just take our date of birth and timing but did not ask for our parents iist ok with it?as my parents just wori on that date form the book we choose as is it favour us?thank.
