hey gals.. any idea which type of nubra is good?? gona get 1 for my pre wedding phototaking.. i got 1 for my rom.. bt is nt sticky after i sweat lor.. kip wanting to fall off like tat.. any recomendations?? best if got those push ups effect ones..

1) Signed my BS package which indl AD PS. (which help me to save abt $1K+)
2) Bought some of my wedding stuff fr Msia, but not from JB. JB still consider as 'expensive'. Eg. i bought my 'Long Feng' candle only at RM10 for 2 pair
3) My card printing only RM20 for every 100 cards
4) Not going for hotel banquet. We opt for restaurant instead lor.
5) Things that can DIY, i will do the costing 1st b4 i decide to buy or to DIY.
6) Skip those items tt not necessary.
7) Buy my bedding items during sales :>

Kris>> A well-planned bride o! Ha... I haven considered so much yet... 'Long Feng' candle is for GDL, right? I dont think I will need to prepare GDL items, all pass to PIL, if they wan then wan; if they dont wan, I also dont need.
I am using JB BS, card insert should be printed in JB as well. A lunch banquet is booked... MUA and AD PG will be using those who are still building up their portfolio (of course will examine their portfolio 1st).

Kris: wow..your card printing is so cheap. only rm20? i paid rm275 for 200 inserts. if i divide into half, 100 inserts also about rm137.50. wonder whether i kena chop. sobz sobz.
For me, i bought everything in malaysia also. cut cost. Even for my honeymoon, i cut cost by taking budget airline.
Banquet wise choose a lunch banquet.
So far, everything is paid by me and htb. so need to save alot.

i get my close friends to help whenever possible, such as make up, photography, montage, sponsor for wedding gown/suit, ang bao box, wedding poster, nail art, invites.... all contributed by friends from all over... it really helps if u have great pals/siblings around... =) ...in addition, i diy my own bouquet, thank you card and will be diy my own invites too... can visit my wedding blog to witness how i save $$$... http://tangtang-land.blogspot.com/ ...have fun planning your wedding... =)

Sorry for my long post!
I am in a slight dilemma as to how to save... I'll be having 3 ceremonies:
1. ROM in Singapore (maybe Feb 2011)
2. AD in Msia (March 2011)
3. AD again in SG (hopefully March 2011, if not will be May 2011)
The ceremonies MUST take place in this order, due to family's wishes. Hence, the dates will all have to be different days.
Here are my plans for saving costs:
For Gowns:
- Buy my ROM, WG and EG gowns online, and have them altered in SG. I;m wondering if buying should is cheaper for my case, since I need to wear the WG and EG at least twice? Is it really cheaper to buy online and alter after that?
OR:
- Rent the ROM, WG and EG from a bridal studio in either JB or SG. (My Msia AD is held somewhere 2hrs drive away from JB) Renting means I may have to pay double due to the AD dates being apart.
My concern is also that, if I buy the gowns online, means I am going the ala carte way. I'm worried I may end up incurring more costs in getting freelance MUA, photographers, florists for the 3 ceremonies.
Need some advise... thanks ladies!

If you want to simplify the process, you can sign an all-in package with sg BS, but which normally cost S$3.5k+. But be aware, not any BS incl AD PG, AD make up & bridal car. So somehow you still need to source separately unless you really take up the high end package.
Even you took all-in package in sg, you stil need to source MUA, PG for your msia banquet. Maybe gown as well, as the date is abt 2 mth different, i dont think BS willing to let u keep the gowns so long... but stil can rent from the BS at discounted price (2 charge again).

Anyway, I just come back from TNT (JB City square, level4) to make enquiry. Print insert (gold word + creamy paper) 50pcs - RM60; 100pcs - RM80. No colour/photo/map. If wan to print photo card tat kind, abt RM186 for 50pcs (incl envelop). Print more per unit will be cheaper but I didnt check out more.
