mine is WIW, so i display all the bags on a shelf... their new big C (very big one) is nice... small C's i only have a wrislet... no need to buy and keep la... too much right?? hmmm

mine is also wiw and I recently got another build in for my bags ( just purely for bags) and it's getting filled up, that was why I sold 2 big bags to 2nd hand shop to make space. You should get another wardrobe... but just curious..how did your wardrobe collapse unless you overload from the top? I mean this really defies the law of physics. Hee hee...

Cecilia, i miss the word online....I am pestering my hubby to take the family to disneyland in orlando. I got my kids to chorus my requests. He wanted a nearer DL ( like HK or Jap), but I got my kids to tell him no no no...what an evil mum I am !

Mindy, Ikea now have those big sliding door wardrobes that are super super roomy... i saw one with a separate compartment that can store lotsa bags =) for me, me and hb have 2 separate wardrobes. and since a guy OBVIOUSLY has less clothes and stuff, it makes sense to stash all my bags into his wardrobe. =)
 
wah mongmong, like that you hb must be super rich... but try not to spend too much lor.. unless he can't afford it without any problems.... must keep $$ for rainy days also... you are like tai tai can just buy and go wherever you wanna... buy LV better, more resale value.. coach not that upmarket to match your status maybe :p

No la, i am not tai tai, my pay check depends on my hb. So in a way, he is also paying for all my bags. I mention I am working for him.

my hb don't like LV. He thinks got too much fakes, so I hardly buy gucci, fendi, dior and lv these day because he don't like it. THat day in orchard underpass leading to tangs, there were people selling fake gucci and lv and people were all crowding as if it's free.My hubby was saying : see, what did I tell you??

So I am into Coach, cole hann, loewe - equally classic ones but slightly cheaper, so I can buy more but still quality stuff. Stretch my $$ a bit more lor! I love tods, but it's soooo expensive, so nono!

At the end of the day, all of us ladies want to look good with our bags, irregardless of the brand. One of the client I meet carry this gucci bag in such a distasteful way and with mismatching clothes and shoes that think it's yucky.

The white bag you got, one of my client did a white scarf knot ( like how they do in Coach boutique), and it looks very classy and can easily match gucci scarf tote. I thought it was very very nice.My this client was saying she's into Coach now, as she said she see very young girl carrying gucci, she will be thinking is that real or fake and she does not want people to think of her bags this way, so no more gucci for her as well.

no la, i only slurge 2 times a year, GSS and Christmas as a reward to myself. Those are seasonal sales time anyway. My SIL shares bags with me as we stay under the same roof with PIL.
 
i got my stuff from min sheng... but they are very rough people.. so if you are not street smart and can't 'speak their kind of language' better not go and buy from them... if not will not get a good deal.

now what i feel is coach is becoming too common.. so a bit sian... when i bought my first coach few years back it was still not very well known... but now i also see aunties carrying fakes... and the fakes can actually look like real stuff that you wouldn't be able to spot the diff.... so now unless i see something i like or its limited edition, then i will consider buying...

Not really, coach fake is relatively not so well done yet. At least those I see.... Yes, i like limited edition stuff too, don't like those can find all over in Singapore. That was why I got the brown handle hobo, no longer available here.
 
mongmong, the brown handle hobo is nvr in the local stores...here only carry the white handle one...tats y i was intending to get fr states then.....hee ic is becos u hv too many bags tats y need to sell them...u deserve to be call tai tai! :P

aiyo i hv also seen auntie carrying fake coach leh...straight away one glance u know it is fake! but it is still not tat common lah....as for seeing more pple with 'real' coach, i agree tat i bump into more coach carrier nowadays as compared to few years back!

but one thing good is coach designs come and sold out quickly and they hv a variety of colors, so it was actually quite refreshing tat everytime i see different coach bags on the street....
 
Just to share. Got myself this Coach bag from someone for less than 100 and verified it at the boutique to be authentic.

mongmong, i can only remember the add is TPY lorong 4. under the block of flats once you turn into lorong 4. the blk selling chicken rice and steamboat.

bubu that bag quite some time ... think beginning last year...
 
actually got to tell you all something... even if they say or you see its attached with tag... shouldn't be a factor at all... muct look at condition... if you know someone in the retail business, they can easily use a kind of hand held machian to 'staple' back the tags to the bag...

I bought it cos its a signature item. The boutique is still selling this design for 500+. Even if its a used item, I would also get it.

Yup, agree. Even though I stick to signature items, I think you should feel comfortable carrying seasonal items esp if it matches your outfit and since you already know its seasonal when you bought it. Past season means must throw away meh? I bet your Prada bag is still in good condition. Worth every penny.

Today, I just saw a old lady carrying the patchwork ( big c and small c) tote, looks very fake, Coach fake can tell. The bad thing is gucci fakes are so good that you can't tell.And everyone is carrying a gucci. ( I hope I don't kena flamed by Gucci fans, just my 2 cents' worth).

There is one particular Gucci design. A mini tote bag. I think I have 'yuan fen' with the bag. I've lost count how many times I've spotted gals carrying it.

the scarf series are the ones on Coach.com now? Then i don't like them. Somehow looks very funny. You can carry off bright pink? You must be tan then. I can't lor, my hb says like I look roast pig. Argh!!! I like red ( ang kong kong),yellow is nice too!

My hb is so irritating, ask him to go to that TP shop, he told me to drive instead, say he don't want to drive around looking for shops when I don't even know the address. Is it near the library? just 1 junction before that? I will see if I can find Min sheng in the yellow pages.

I also tell my hb that so long I know my gucci is real can liao. When we went to shanghai, we saw this super AAA grade ones and he compare against my waist pouch I brought, he said sama sama from afar and near, but the price differs so much,people see also think I carry fake even when I carry real one. So he writes off gucci- the real turn off for him was the attitude of takashimaya gucci stuff.We tried so much to get their attention, but 4 of them were fawning over a tai tai. He got so angry that he just pulled me and walked out and refused to spend a single cents at gucci anymore. Now I only go gucci with my SIL and friends to look see, not with him.

But yes sian lor, see everyone carrying the same, don't know real or fake...

I saw that in the boutique. Gold is in now. This is the optic series har? But $420's very expensive. If you want, must bargain hard hard with her.

mongmong i'm not tan... actually its only the leather tat is pink.. use it when going short getaways cos it is very big... ya the new scarf series on coach.com... i also tot it doesn't stand out much... but there will be a lot of tais tais carrying soon....
