I can't help you on that as I have been buying from esterlla only. The optic tote is available in black in the boutique as I have seen it before.

My friend who is getting this optic bag from esterlla told me she did ask around a few sellers on a particular bag,seems like esterlla is still quoting the cheapest without bargaining. The optic tote - she quoted my friend a super good price ( in my friend's opinion), so she grabbed lor!


Maybe some sellers is expecting the buyer to bargain, so they buffer the price a lot. My experience with esterlla is that if you ask her to quote ,she hardly buffer afterall we know the US price. So if she don't buffer too much, we can't expect her to drop drastically when we bargain. I prefer her straight forward style of doing business, keep on bargaining also sian!

I am very fickle minded hor...now after my friend kept raving about the shoulder tote, I am thinking of getting one. So I am in between 3 - a sling bag ( from boutique - same as serene and bubu), the duffle or the shoulder tote? Esterlla quoted me quite attractive price for the shoulder tote, a bit more than the duffle only....hm...hm...hm....

Did esterlla ever tell you that certain item is not a good idea to buy because the price is too expensive and it's too seasonal? I nearly fell off my chair when she told me that.
I was like har?????where got seller tell buyer that?? I ask her is it she don't want to earn my money??? She said as a seller, she shouldn't be saying that,but as a friend and standing from a buyer perspective, she said she just wanted to do a reality check, like a gatekeeper.

Then she told me that fashion is like IT, forever changing, it's hard to keep up, so get a timeless classic that will last for years rather than seasonal stuff. But she respects that this is individual preferences.

She told me try not to buy 2 of the same thing because will end up using 1 only. Wah, I am really impressed. My hubby was impressed too when I told him. I mean this lady is really sincere and not a hit and run seller.I bet other sellers will be pushing me to buy more and more.I will if I were her. Where got seller do reality check one, most rather you buy irrationally? This lady here, wow, I really take my hat off , seriously.

Earlier I said she should do sales as she's personable, I retract that, think the company will go bust with her doing sales, too nice and too considerate! i hope she will not read this.


Have you called her? She told me the black hobo reserved for someone last night. Is that you?
 
hi mongmong after reading wat u said abt esterlla, i also can feel tat shes not one of those typical sellers...she seems to be willing to share her honest opinion with buyers...i also agree wat she say abt buying a classic style tat will not go out of style....which is y u can see tat for some seasonal items on auction...there doesnt seem to hv any buyers cos is not really worth it to buy....juz my own opinion lah....

e 3 designs u mentioned...personally i like the duffle most....

mong mong, yes it was available before. i got one wrislet in that duffle colour.

coach is cheaper when they have that 30% discount sale and on top still can use TA or DFS dicsount.

you all buy coach machiam buy stuff from market liao... control la... if not whole streets end of with coach...

She really amazes me. I don't have much experience with a lot of sellers on yahoo, but in sales line, most sales people will push for their most expensive product.

I have here, a lady,who told me the signature dye tote is not worth the $$. Even for 1 bag she has online, she think it's bo hua ( in her actual words)to buy. I was like ah, you are selling the bag but telling people not to buy?She says no lar, if that person is really interested, she will cut the prices attractive enough so that it's attractive to buy. She said her sis bought the bag,so she got to sell, but personally think it's not worth it.

I wanted to get another coin purse to put in the car. She immediately asks me why do I need a coach purse to put in the car, can just use those cheaper ones. Thanks to her, I didn't get it. My hubby says i am lucky to have met such seller. He also thinks I am mad to buy a $70 coin purse to put in the car.

I am all praises for this young lady, for her rationality and sincerity.


My hubby also said she is not cut out for sales, not aggressive enough and too direct. Why got people play down their own products?

Just wanted to check with Jules if she ever experience that as well because esterlla said I am not the only one she has advised.
 
mongmong... maybe its that personal touch that makes people buy from her.... if too hard sell you wouldn't buy also... the new series in? or you mean you wanna go try the brown duffle? don't think they still carry.. it was like more than one a half years back...
 
mongmong: yup.. she told me the same thing too.. after i blew almost 1.5K on something i no longer like very much at this point. guess i'm just as fickle as you are. anyway she probably will be helping me sell it.

do you gals simply contact her to let her know what bags u are interested in (from her online auction) and ask for a viewing? what i noticed is that there are no bids for her bags in her auctions.

or do we go down to her place and we are able to see the range of bags she is selling?
 
hi bubu, thanks.. anyway last nite i emailed them and they replied (very promptly, within half hr they emailed back) and said they can't ship to countries where they already have a presence.

You have to use vpost for shipping from US.
So coach in US ships to yr vpost US address and Vpost will ship it to spore.

However, if you include the cost of shipping + taxes, the price willl be abt the same price if you had bought it in DFS spore with 15% discount (assuming the same bag is sold here).

My SIL collected the bag yesterday and my brother said esterlla was very nice and professional, kept insisting that my SIL checked the bag and said whatever thing she buy online or in the boutique,must always check. I am going over to SIL's place to see the bag tonight.

I should be getting the duffle from her. But going to view the bag first.The new collections are in DFS. I really don't like the stripe tote and the new hobo. The large hobo is so so smaller compared to the braided large hobo. The shape is too slouchy.

Esterlla always like that one.. last time I wanted to buy a black duffle wristlet, then she advised me not to, cos I already had a poppy wristlet. And when I asked about the hobo, she asked if I was buying cos I needed one, or cos I just felt like buying and again quan4 me dun just buy on impulse. She's a very sweet seller =)

Usually u can just email her to ask about the bags u are interested in. She does let potential buyers view the bags obligation free before buying, sometimes, even brings 2-3 other bags that she feels may be suitable as well to the viewing. just contact her to check. She replies to emails quite promptly.

From what I know from other forums like cozycot and flowerpod, other rather reliable yahoo sellers are agoh, terelyn and sinyeelai. not sure about the rest. I have only bought from esterlla though.. cos i like her stuff and her prices seem most reasonable.

Thanks! yep...I contacted esterlla and i must say she's a nice gal! Well, and i think it's her approach that actually wins her more customers.Ppl trust her cos she dun hard-sell, and gals being gals, we will eventually still buy more bags from her long term esp with the new designs that Coach churns out so often.

based on what u gals say, i do trust her enough that her bags are authentic..but i guess for my 1st purchase, i better verify at boutique? Do i just bring down the bag to any boutique to ask the SA to verify (i feel abit shy leh..).

anyway.it's real nice to know of an alternative way to get Coach bags other than waiting for the DFS sale (i am reluctant to pay the marked-up prices in spore!) , so thanks, gals! :-)

u can ask her to go with u to verify at boutique. she does do that. If not, just bring the bag to any coach boutique and tell the SA that the bag was a gift, and u'll like to ask them to verify if it was genuine. =) works all the time! =)

the pocket flap is bigger... i have a leather pocket flap very similar to it. the two pockets in front can put hp, keys, lip stick, etc. very roomy!! i can even squeeze 2 wallets, and 1 umbrella into the main compartment! the second pic u posted is smaller. i think the 1st one nicer =) less aunty =) by that's just my opinion. if esterlla selling why dun u buy from her?

i also prefer the bigger one with front pocket, i have only seen the brown/white and black one in spore.

the other one is smaller, never seen the real thing so can't really say for sure, but i feel the buckle on small coach bags are kind of overwhelming.

She was very funny- she said I should not trust what she said, for all I know, she could be an eloquent con artist. Told me to better verify, she said she's sure most of her buyers do that. That's the bag she told me for the price, bo hua to buy. She said the price tag is US$300+ for such a small bag. She,herself, found it expensive and not worthwhile. I was like ah?? Where got seller says her own products expensive one?But she said she will price it attractively for the buyer if that person is really interested. My colleauge got it for $500+ at DFS sale.Why don't you ask esterlla for the price? If she can sell you cheaper than what your friend can get from US, why not? I got a feeling she might drop the price.

It's really good to have a seller who can act as a gatekeeper. I do admit I get carried away buying at times and she will be there like an "guardian angel" over my wallet...ahhahah..

I saw someone carrying the 2nd bag u posted and the base looks kinda flat? dun think u can squash many things in if u are the kinda person who carries everyhting "just in case" like me =) the 1st bag is quite big leh!! saw it in the boutique last time. mine is the small one and already i can stuff 1 umbrella and 2 wallets and hp and lipstick, tissue, keys.

I second jules. The first bag is nicer, more unique. The second one, I saw esterlla carrying the khaki with white leather one before.Very nice and jap looking. I did kay poh and ask her what she can carry. She open up and all she had inside was a long wallet, card care, phone, keys and she told me that's all she could put in. She told me she transfer all the necessary things from her tote bag over. This is just an weekend bag. So depends on the quantity of stuff you are going to put in your bag. If lots, the 1st bag should be better -i have a disclaimer, I only seen the 2nd bag, but not the 1st bag.

the 1st bag pocket flap is the roomier version of the small flap.....i own a small flap now, can put the daily essential only....

the 2nd bag is a new updated shape of the small flap lor....i dun really like it...but i like the braided handle design of the laether range....

yeah, i like the braided look too. actually, i looked at the bag sold by esterlla and did a comparison with the one on coach website (it has since been removed)...there's some difference in the flap lei...tat's why i'm a bit apprehensive on buying...if my cousin can't find, i might consider...see how...coz i like the gallery tote in white too (just saw it in the coach boutique).

will ask my cousin to keep a lookout for you on the black hobo.

Such a smartie, yes, I will be getting the duffle, but i want to see the new bags she has. She told me she has not listed all yet because she's busy with house and wedding. The braided leather is nice. I saw the hobo in leather, but leather is more expensive than the monogram,my husband says bo hua.

Ya, hers is braided handle one. Very nice. Make her look like a Japanese. I think hers is different from the one on the website. She told me this is never available in Singapore, but in Japan.She sent me some Japanese website and it was there as well. I just checked the serial number of her bag from the Jap website , it's 6171, not the one with the 5 digits number on Coach.com. I think removal from website means sold liao because usually she will take it down once people confirm they want to buy. She mention that the shoulder flap was on the auction for so long, no one buys because it's not on Coach.com and people probably thought that she is selling a fake, so didn't dare to buy. The moment the design is launched on Coach.com, she said sure to have people buy. True enough, it was gone.

i am interested, but the outlets are usually older designs? Can let me see if the brown duffle 3574 can be cheaper than $400? If so, I get via your cousin.

My SIL's colleague got white. local only has white, don't think brown was here at all.

I am also apprehensive at first. But she's so so so confident and keep asking me to verify. Say if not authentic, it's my money back + even more $$ back! I counted, with her extras, i can buy a LV bag if really her bag's not authentic. I don't think any seller is that stupid to offer such an attractive refund policy and hoping the buyer won't verify.Of course, I will verify haha...and I did! I was half hoping that I could get more $$ back...the evil Mong Mong at work! Haha..half disappointed it was authentic!!no lah, just joking..of course i want my bag to be authentic.

Ino, i really saw someone carrying the 2nd bag leh... a few mths ago at ikea.. unless not just my memory going, but my eyesight too!! even if it's different, the shape is the same ba... and i dun think it can fit an umbrella without distorting the shape too much?

oh..just realised 6267 is the coach black soho signature medium hobo- which cant be found here.. not sure how much that should be! anyone know the difference in price between this model and 6279 (ie the large hobo)? cant decided which to get now... will let u know by tomorrow ok ino?

but i tink chances of finding it not very high...coz it seems it's meant for Asian mkt only...US might not stock it. but i will still still ask her to check it out for u. if have, i also wan to buy. hahhaha...(woah liao...cannot let hubby find out...wait he say i got too much $$ to spend liao)

Esterlla got the gold 7874 for my SIL from US. She told my SIL US definitely has it even though it's not on Coach.com. My SIL's colleague working in US also confirmed that the bag are still in the boutiques. So ask your cousin to buy for you

I think the size of this bag is very handy..not too big and not too small..good for days when u want to bring abit more things (eg. water bottle, mag, sweater) other than your basic stuff ...
 
just need to register on yahoo auctions, otw no id cannot bid. esterlla needs a minimum of 1 or 2 ratings to bid i think, so msg her before bidding to ask her to change that rule, otw u can't submit a bid. also, just watch the auction. don't bid now.. no point.u only help to increase the price even faster. bid only towards the end to increase ur chances of getting it, ie in the last few minutes.
 

mine is this. sold out one week in singapore stores for white. i still saw the taller one during dfs sales in white only. the SA advise against taking gold which i like also... cos the colour will not last for such ... orange as well.
