ino you saw the taller one. $849. this size that i bot is $755 in stores. this size not on coach.com. but the gers said that esterlla do carry... she manage to get it from states. i bout at $566 from DFS with TA discount.

jules, the seller can close the bid early without giving to any bidder if it is too low... i remember bidding for something and the seller did not honour when the bid ends... you can't do anything to them also...

it's definitely not the taller one that i saw at taka coach. i'm absolutely sure of it. anyway, i neber ask for the model no...so i'm not that sure whether it's 7874 but i'm also veri sure that it's over $800+ too. Mabbe it's a medium sized tote?

but it definitely look like 7874...gold really dun last? hmmm...

omg...the clutch is veri sweet. ;-) actually i like the little details that they designed for this bag...makes it look very chic and elegant.

the SA advise against taking gold and silver cos over time they will flake.. not as lasting... those colours do not have the same dyeing agent as lasting as the normal colours ba...
 
ino... the range for this only has two sizes... the taller one and mine that size.. hmm.. maybe i drop by taka coach one of these days to take a look ba... if not the taller one then i don't remeber any tote like mine costing $800 plus.. maybe they really raised prices...
 
aqua maybe raise prices and brought in new stock liao cos this size very saleable... but sian liao cos the whole streets will be flooded.... i bot it cos DFS SA told me limited pieces brought in.... and a lot jap tourists and korean tourists bot... so will not see it on streets too often...
 
cecilia.. the SA is right about the flaking. after some time, the 'leather' will dry and crack.

it's a nice bag tho. i like the size. wasted the new stripe series doesn't have this size.

Should be able to get from US, I see my SIL's one has the US price tag. My SIL verifies the bag rightaway after picking up the bag. It was authentic.

You are looking at the medium hobo? I never seen that 4 numbers before. Maybe again, not on Coach.com. I can't find it on the jap website that esterlla send me as well, so maybe only in US only!

I think it's limited pieces. I went to DFS, taka and RC, they told me no more 7874 and won't be bringing in anymore! No worries, yours will still not be common. Actually, I have not seen much Coach on the streets, it's still more gucci and lv
 
twish... i think have one abt the size of mine... and the new range reversible leh.. can carry it in a reverse way... just like LV.. so cute... if the colour are vibrant a bit i don't mind getting...


mongmong, white is easier to match.. the colour is more 'lasting' in a sense... white never goes out of trend... gold may look 'old' on some people if outfit doesn't match. my friend got teh orange colour one... very diff to match.. she can only wear brown tops to match...
 
aqua... only silver and gold will crack... the SA actually advise against putting moisturise too much... cos the colour fade faster and becomes sfter... makes it easier to crack also.. she only say keep in dustbag and don't always use the same bag ..kekeke which is true la... i seldom use the same bag.. so can keep them quite well
 
actually the difference in the 2 sizes really not that much... just that the more ex one is that bit taller ... so maybe from the pic ino couldn't spot the diff...

mongmong actually thats what the SA told me... will not ring in anymore.. but i won't be surprised if there will be other colours... actually DFS SA very good ... cos they warn me against some bags that i shouldn't buy... so i dun waste money...

cecilia: i was at dfs over the weekend.. think the one abt same size as yours is the 'large'. ok only. $755 i think. but there's a visible 'made in china' tag once you reversed it :P
 
yup mong mong, she showed the receipt too but she cannot give me cos got bad experience of people reselling it at higher price with her receipt.
 
no white colour will not flake... its the difference in dyeing sgent... cos white is a basic colour but gold and silver got to mix special chemcials to achieve that colour.. so not as lasting.. orange i'm not sure.. you so fast bot liao ah! how much you paid?

Anyway most important is the item is authentic. Managed to get it at $500...which is after some negotiation. She quoted $530 one. According to her, the other buyer sold at about $100+ higher.

Mongmong, am ok with the colour cos most of my clothes are matchable colour with that...also won't be using that often so no issues.

Twish, yup bought the taller version in orange...got to top up after selling the hobo...actually the hobo I wanted to use as baby bag but realised it's really not suitable...quite difficult to put things while struggling to handle my toddler. This one easier cos it's opening is bigger.

Mongmong i personally prefer gold trim dats y got 2 bags in the same range wif gold trim kekeke i actually tot of getting the satchel 1 wif gold trim but my sis said enuf of gold liao lol so mayb if i really NEED keke 2 get a bag..the next 1 will b a white trim

aqua not a bad price.. slightly more than 40% off... wear black, white or brown sure no prob... for me i wear colourful..so diff... should let you see my big coach bag... even better as a baby bag... haha! i only use when going short trips...

i also agree with cecilia. Pretty strange, once you sell the bag, why do you bother if someone resell it at higher price? It's like me going to attic place and telling her that she got to sell it lower than what I sold my bags to her for!

I don't really like the new range too! Nothing caught my fancy. If I reverse the bag and use, won't the coach leather piece with the serial number hangs outside...so ugly! What if my lipstick stain the monogram?? Ahhhh! I don't think so
 
i guess the snake trim is more prone to flaking cos e handle is like made up of small small pieces and the strap is thin, so the dfs pple warn abt this...gonna handle the bag with care.....

u all go enlarge and see the pocket it nvr mentioned abt 'made in china' leh LOL!

it's quite difficult to gauge the actual size from pictures, eg.i thought 7874 looks big in pix, but the actual thing is not that big.
The one that cecillia (and me) bought, the dimensions are about 12" (L) x 9" (H). if you planning to ask yr cousin to get this 4 u and since local boutique don't carry this, u need to agar agar the size from the dimensions.
The taller version looks big also in the pix, but if u read the dimensions, it's 10"(L) X 12" (H), so this might just be the one you see in local boutiques.

I also think that white is a more lasting colour. at least it's a neutral colour, easier to match. in fact, it's always the contrast from the white trimmings that captures my attention to the bags..haha...

cecilia: the 'made in china' tag not on the leather creed but on the side seam of the bag (when reversed).. similar to that on the gold-fashion nokia phones.
 
Mongmong, to me it's the same thinking as you and cecilia...but maybe some seller just feel that they are being 'cheated' cos immediately after that buyer bought the bag, she resell it at higher price...ever also got this incident in marketplace here and even got a lady asked for my comments on this resale thingy. Told her normally once I sell my item to you...I dun care how much you want to resell it for. kekeke
