Hi princess,

Yes I had the same experience too, when i went down to Ted's place, I did not get to see him at all but I heard he is very busy and normally just left the 1st stage to Jean and another girl (forgot her name). And they charge extra for every single embrodery i want to add on the gown. I guess if you want simple gown, Ted Wu's package is attractive, but if u want a gown which feels different, i think Amanda is the best!

Hi gals,

I went to visit amanda last friday and agree with eveie. Amanda's design is really very different, very bold, elegant and stylist. This is what i want =). I did thought of going down to Ted's place too but after seeing Amanda, i feel that Ted's design doesnt suit me, too lady like already though they are very nice. The best part of Amanda is that she can read your mind and knows what you like.

Eveie, did you get any photographer from Amanda?

I will be signing up with amanda in april and will be bringing my FH along =) So happy that i have found the style which i have been looking for. By the way, i falling in love with eric's photo shoots. So lovely, stylo and cool. Think i will get him la =) Going to burn a big hole in my FH's pocket already

i was a Amanda Lee bride... and I am v happy that I've chosen Amanda, no regrets. My previous choice were either Sil, Ted Wu and AL. Nearly took up Ted Wu, but didnt cos I knew ultimately i'd prefer a lace gown. And Ted charges extra for lace. I've been wanna make a trip to Flamingo too... but always too bz to make it for their appt... so finally i decided on AL.

Amanda has done a great job in my gown and I love it lots. Further, she's a v nice and patient lady, with frank views.

Ice-bubbles... ya i was also afraid that lace might look big, but amanda assured me... and I went ahead with it. Felt that she has really done a great job to make one look good.

wow! looks like the TV show is some free adverts for Amanda Lee..

i remember when I sign up, it was a Xmas promotion package. For OTR (off the rack) its close to $4k and for MTM (made to measure), its close to $5k

The above packages include Wedding gown and evening gown, grooms' suit, makeup, flowers, bridal car decoration, corsages..cant rem what else

Thanks for sharing the photos. I loved the gown with french applique. Me also abit ma fan, find it hard to accept outstanding tones of embroidery on white gowns. Hee.... prefer pastel colors though.

The last time i went AL, they showed me something like your first gown, just that it is pink in color. And it's meant for their wedding show. Wanted to order it, but then on 2nd thought, better not coz my AD is still far, maybe by then i prefer something else.

Anyway, your gowns look great!

Hey gals,

I signed up with AL some months back. I like e fact that she actually has custom made designed jewellery (for us to keep) in her package. Some of them are very pretty. I chose one that is irregular in design, i love that piece!! Even my hubby & friends like it. Furthermore, it even comes with matching earrings, i must say its very thoughtful of her.
This made her package different from other bridal salon i hv visited. Although she is on e pricey side but i think by custom making accessories for her brides, it adds e icing to e package. Very personalised service. And also save our trouble to go look for matching accessories.
Hope u gals have as much fun as i did @ ALW.
