I actually considered park royal at pickering. However, the coordinator was overseas, so didnt get to know the package.From what I know from my wedding planner that it is quite expensive as they are quite particular with recycling.
i wanted individual platted chinese dinner and they quote $180++ for 6 dishes... their normal wedding package is $1388 or $1588 per table... they even have organic chinese dinner at $1888 per table...

Anyway, we went to have a look around the hotel although no coordinator. Seems quite okay. However the wall color and structure might be quite difficult to match other colors.
So because of this, I chose crowne plaza. At least it is so much cheaper, and it is nett price, and it is 2 night stay instead of 1.
I attended a wedding at four seasons hotel but that was some years back. Service and food were quite good. They served Peking duck during the pre-lunch cocktail which was quite unique...Hi all BTB, i am new here. May i know what is the difference between Parkroyal @ Beach Road & Parkroyal @ Pickering Hotel ? Any reviews on this 2?
Also, i am considering Four Seasons Hotel as well. Any reviews?

Hi btb, i just signed up with z-wedding. we were really impressed with the service and the designs of the gown. they were upfront with the package, and no hidden costs included. we also like that they have chrisling for the photography. prior to our visit, we actually did some research online and attended bridal fairs as well. but most of them have hidden costs and my fiancee didn't really like the gown designs.

I understand how you feel guys, took me and the bf super long to find... my planner bug us like mad with regards on the venue...
nope... saw their works? maybe they just started that's why it's cheaper?

they have been in this line for around 2years... their works are okay.. of course not comparable to the higher end ones. but the convenience is they package up the services i need. 7hrs of AD photography + 3 hrs photo booth + Childhood Montage at... $1.4k.
i know everyone wants to keep it affordable but prices like this do make me wonder too :/

Go with an open mind, every bridal Studio has their pros and cons, especially for MDW where they are relatively new in SG, things starts to slip when they start to get bigger or when they expand...

I myself have booked Parkroyal Beach Road, their ballrooms have been renovated last year and looks gorgeous, so my SO & I booked our banquet with them. Our Coordinator is Felicia and she is very helpful.
I went to Parkroyal at Pickering as well. Service was horrible as the coordinator kept pushing for us to go "view" the venue ourselves, not even willing to arrange for a meet-up, so we forgo them, cannot imagine what kind of services they are providing to their potential customers.
Should have slots still.. my banquet looking in Oct or Nov 2015 and they still have available dinner slots, only a few under waiting list..
It's ok. My friend had her ps in Mar and until now no new lol.

but my boyf proposed again later in the evening, during the erm, more romantic dinner.
later on, he told me the dinner proposal was his initial actual plan - which has very high chance of me guessing it- so he decided to change plans and do it in the early morning while i'm half-aslp -_- but he carried on with the dinner proposal since he had already planned it (don't wanna waste his brain juices), plus it will confirm be a surprise since i would never guess that he will propose twice -_-
but to answer the 2nd proposal, i waved the ring at him and said "sorry, i'm already taken"

I also did my hunting for 1mth++! Too many to see! Hahaha! There was some I like but were too ex! x.x easily 2.5k+ just for AD photography! This Friday im gonna meet one of my shortlisted PG. If all ok then immd book!

I'm with MDW. so far my experience with them was great! I just did my PS in March. Experience was great! the pg and mua were gd even the asst pg too! now waiting for my album to be ready to collect!
Initially, I was also worried abt the bad reviews abt them after i sign up with them. i guess i'm quite lucky as everything was so far so gd! I think it also really depends on coordinator ba. just my two cents.
