Hello Lemons! So your HTB will fetch u straight from home? Cause my schedule is my HTB and I will either check in earlier (if possible ard 9am) or book a night before and stay there first... no fetching at all

Looks like wedding luncheon is getting more popular nowadays.
I'm hosting luncheon too, and will be doing it on split days to avoid the mad rush. Gatecrash/tea ceremony on Friday while ROM/luncheon on Saturday.
If you're doing it on the same day, you might consider doing the ROM during lunch and tea ceremony after the lunch. That's what my colleague did on his big day. But if you've got relatives who drinks a lot, then not a good idea.

Yup!! Doing before tea ceremony! Either that or might just do at ROM office with immediate family members around few days before banquet

Yes I signed up with Sophia. Did not even get to talk to anyone in la belle as they don't bother to entertain me when I walk into the shop. With this service, I just went to other shops. Digio staff is nice and not pushy too
who's your wedding coordinator? Possible to share your package details with me?

IMO, you gotta list down what you want exactly. Then look for the individuals providing the service and get them to quote then you do the math. See if the final sum is within your budget. Similarly get a quote from package service providers. The ultimate decision lies on your budget availability.
Ala carte:
Pro- you get to select your preferred vendor individually
Con- prices may tend to be higher as the individuals maybe more "pro" and changes higher than avg
I was in fact same like you confused on ala carte or package. I do have preferred vendors but at the end, decided it's prob wiser to have more economical wedding as we have hdb and honeymoon to factor in.

I was in a similar dilemma just last week. It is indeed a lot cost effective to go with a one-stop bridal studio but after visiting a few one-stops and ala carte couture boutiques, I decided to go ala carte. The quality is a world of difference.
I'm also doing a luncheon but we are not having gate crash. My fiancé will fetch me and we will be doing the tea ceremony early morning followed by church wedding and luncheon.

Welcome! Which hotels have you shortlist? My AD is on 10 Oct 2015.. The only thing I have confirmed is the venue.. I'm still thinking if I will do ala carte for BS & PS..

Ya~ I wanted ROM and AD on separate day but I find it a hassle that after ROM still need to travel to restaurant for high tea etcs~ so decided to hold all in one and tired for only that day! ^.^

I have shortlisted Mandarin Oriental and Intercon but I'm on waitlist for Intercon so likely will confirm with Mandarin Oriental after this sat viewing
BS is a headache.. Dunno which BS to choose also.. Guess I will need to find time to look into each BS gown and package for PS.. Now sourcing around for PG and VG quotation and compare

Hmm the only BS that I saw and like was Bridal Veil by Michelle Huimin and Calla... I bought those wedding magazines and stumble upon her designs.. check out those mag, it does help you to find the BS that will have your wedding dress design...

Most of my friends went to Taiwan for pre-shoot and they loved that place but I have nvr been there... if you don't like, I suggest you change the country, what are the alternatives?
I totally agreed that its great! can at least choose the ones I like rather than go with them...

I have actually short listed la belle, Sophia and my dream wedding, but on the other hand I want to take ps in Taiwan or Korea with overseas BS instead of local BS. Have to consolidate the price and compare.
Jus to share, mdw review is not tat good already. Plus they r expensive.

WOW ! Thats awesome ! Its good to have someone to get you along in order to have the good quality that you want. I heard from my friends that they will add on additional charges so on top of your package you need to bring 1k more etc. T.T

hmm my best fren used la belle for her wedding 2 years ago, she got a very good deal, her package includes bridesmaids' dresses... hmm service quite okay but it's a mess when you went to their level 2...

hello! I did shortlist Parkroyal @ Pickering Street but they couldn't let me view the venue for whatever reasons and I got a bit pissed so I did not went down to take a look even though they send me their package.. I rem their carpet is green, they have full length windows.. It's way newer and slicker than Parkroyal @ Beach Road... My best fren's wedding was at Parkroyal @ Beach Road (2 years ago), food pretty alright and I remember it is rectangle in shape...
