Hey girls - is everyone taking a ROM package with a MUA? I'm considering just going to a hair salon to get my hair done, and doing my own makeup. Any recommendations for good hairstylists for elegant updos?

Hi moss389, I'm going ala carte. So i don't think I will be taking any ROM package. I prefer to choose something i really like then to pick a package and knowing i might not like some details in the package. Just do something u like. Its absolutely fine getting your hair done in a salon and doing your own make up.

Think i need to start losing some weight now to prepare for my ROM next yr. keke

I'm planning to hold my wedding on 18/03/11.
I'm so happy to see that all of us are really excited and plannig so far ahead.

I will be going to the bridal fair this saturday at suntec and also to grand copthorne on sunday.

Hopefully they are able to give me the price of 2011 or offer me the same price as 2010 because prices are going up!

Hi Michelle and all, my HTB and I are intending to hold the dinner on 18 Mar 2011 too! That's the day we started dating but we are asking my FILs if it is a good day accordingly to the lunar calendar. We hope it is! We are having our ROM in Dec 2009 and are browsing for banquets now. Have you come across any you like? We like Merchant Court but I think it's not ready for booking..Hopefully the prices don't keep going up..

Have anyone consulted Master for AD/ROM dates? What are the rates like? My HTB wants to go to a Master that charge $415 as a package for AD/An Chuang/Guo Da Li dates & time. Expensive?

I just went to the bridal fair at suntec on saturday and signed up a bridal package with Yvonne creative. Was introduced by friend coz she told me that the shop is good.
The consultant I got was Sally, she was real nice.
Also went to Grand Copthorne Waterfront for the show and wanted to sign up because the grand ballroom do not have pillars to block the view of my guests. But I think we need to look around first. I will look for Holiday Inn and Novotel as well.

pinkglove -> the food is good. but i tink, it will always be nice on such events to attract you. sharks' fin, abalone and other nice food.

Baby_pie -> their package is ok. Sunday is only $888 nett. Their written brochures stated that px, but when we consult the staff, they say that 2011 px are $40 more than 2010. A bit contradicting, will write in again to verify if I'm interested. But probably 70% will be holding my wedding there coz of the nice ballroom.

I wanna choose my PG so im going ala carte. What im troubled now is if i dun take the PS from the BS, i might still have to take up another package for AD and they don't really give much discount even if u dun take up PS. Sigh...

Hi pinkglove.. I dont think you need to take another package for your AD, since you already have your SIL. Those BS doesnt offer PS for AD, PS for AD is another separate thingy. If I am not wrong..

You havent decide on a date yet in Nov? hehee... Moi also in Nov 2011.

I like JWN, but dont think Im going for their overseas PS.
