Nope, i have not signed on with them yet...still considering between Silhouette and Tan Yoong.
But I really do love their tulle gowns...they make you feel like a princess!

Marian> I went Tan Yoong b4. He is a great chap with FANTASTIC gowns, but they are beyond my budget. so i gave it a passed. I went Ted Wu too, but he is also quite pricey. His gowns are SO CLASSIC with all the embroidery, but SIL's tulle gown won my heart eventually. haha

Marian> Yes, heard of Kai's Bridal, but I did not shortlist them. Can't comment on that. But also heard their gowns are very nice. Perhaps u may list down what kind of look u want, then source around. Different designers "specialise" in different feel/look.

I went to VC for quotes, their gowns are lovely but tink it fits slender brides better. I only have their basic package since I had yet to sign up with them thus they did not give too much details. Nevertheless if interested pls pm me for info.
 
My gd fren did hers at golden horse and I feel that the pics were quite well taken, one of the better ones i've seen. She's petite in size but the photographer manage to take the photos such that her legs look long. Her gowns were nice too.
 
Anybody considering overseas PS? Wonder how much would it cost.

I saw my Taiwanese fren PS, her gowns are so exquisite and the sceneries are fantastic.
 
Hi @kemi, I know alot of couple nowadays go to Taiwan for outdoor PS... Really beautiful but I think it wont be cheap (near 10K) ... so I better give it a pass.
 
Sapphire> i dunno what is the address, i only know how to find my way there. based on the thread of SG Bridal, they will have cars to pick up their customers from customs. just be cautious on the tax issue when going thru custom.

the shop is very near msia custom. i did not go there b4, but i drove pass..

Tulle gown ah, its like a big ball gown. dreamy and princess feel... if you have those style wedding magazine, check out their featured pictures. all tulle gowns.

pinkglove> yes, golden horse coordinator also very nice i heard. i have 2 friends with them then they all gave positive feedback.

kemi> taiwan shots are very nice, but like what sapphire said, very ex. i can DIE topping up extra photos...so i change to msia PS instead. haha... cheaper...
 
Actually Taiwan BS are not very ex la.. My package is 2k+, excluding air ticket and accommodation and AD. I'm going next year, doing the calculations i estimated to be somehow comparable to local price, considering the service and experience.

Of course Msia's package will be cheaper, and actually scenery can be very nice too! I've seen shoots at Desaru.. really nice beach and sky. I personally think that SG bridal is one of the better one in JB, compared to the rest. I like the graphics effect!
 
Hi Joanie, those I know signed up with JWN ... went to Taiwan, paid for near 10K (including accomodation, airtickets, top up of photos).

Hehehe...time passes very fast...but right now maybe we could start planning the theme of our wedding...how we envision our wedding to be...put together a catalogue of pictures for our flowers, the hotel decor, wedding cakes, etc...

I will be going to Taiwan for my pre-wedding photos at the end of the year. I agree with Joanie that it is quite affordable. My package is around 2.5K, excluding ticket and accommodation and AD package.

Marian and kemi, where did you sign your package? I saw JWN webby and saw that they offer destination shots to spain, greece , taiwan, hokkaido so got quite interested, but have to check out the price

11/11/11 - my fiance thought of this.. coz we are going to ROM 11/11 this year.. And we got together on the 11th.

I like mermaid style (I think this should be the term) but Im quite short (1.56m) so not sure if I can carry such look.
 
pinkglove - pmed you. =) Not convenient to share too much details. But i suggest you to visit wedding exhibitions, compare the packages.

Sapphire- Ya if take into consideration of air ticket, hotels, expenses is possible to hit 10k.. especially when top up of 1 photo can cost 70+ sgd! (taiwan is cheaper) have to self control, cannot top up so much. I keep telling myself if i spend 2-3k topping up.. might as well sign another package. Haha!

Marian- which TW BS are you with? Decided on your location for shoot already?
 
Hi Joanie, think I will just take a BS (not those one-stop kind) and find a stand-alone photographer.

This way, what I pay for the photographer would be all included.. so dont have to worry about toppingup.

Pinkglove -> same as u I also wanted to get overseas shoots but then to be really practical many of those married couples will tell u the album usually ends up in one corner of your hse after marriage. Only used when house-warming for newly weds.

So its not very advisable to top-up too much $$$ i guess. But to say is easier as to be done. Cos the heart cannot follow the brain :p Huge Challenge for us

Oh...hehehe...mermaid style is gorgeous! Have you gone to try any wedding gowns? I am sure that bridal boutiques will have mermaid style wedding gowns to suit you.
