Isa: I actually don't have the title cause I asked most of my friends and they don't know the title..it's a short song from Meteor Garden 1 so my pianist just going to listen and play accordingly...hehe..think about 55 sec only then mayb ask him to repeat again..

My dinner march in is really short cause my ballroom is wide and not long...

I should be doing away with the yum seng toast, cause I dont see the point of getting brothers and sisters to scream into the mike.

There was this associate's wedding I went, and the brothers screamed until his voice broke. It was super high pitched and very ugly sounding. It wasnt any better for us as must of the guests were covering their ears.

Isa: actually I choose the song cause i want the romantic feel since i'll b showing my childhood & dating montage ending with a short video of the proposal then once it ends my pianist will start playing and we'll march-in...won't be getting the MC to annouce our arrival coz want it to be continuous..

The yum seng toast i think will still have it followed by a short speech... so have you booked anything??

Isa: We Prob Going To MM This Apr. TBA As HTB May Be Out Of Town. He Doesnt Like e Yum Seng Part, And Said In Xchange For That Toast Thingy I Can Hire A Planner To Help (Which Was Initially Not Included As We Wanted To keep Within Budget)
So I Guess It Was A Win-Win For Me.

Chloe & CH: My bridal is "Jazx" Bridal (I can't seem to type the right name here, there's this error message saying that word is not allowed in this discussion board, I wonder why..) and my hotel is Merchant Court.

Got a not-bad deal for my dinner banquet so am quite happy about it. ;p

and photography/videography... still dunnoe which one to shortlist.. as i got a budget...

i have decided to hold my banquet at Crowne Plaza !! my fav hotel !!

Ash: mine is Bliss Bridal and I'm with Four Season..my banquet hotel is not too bad and my coordinate is really efficient too...love the hotel too...can't wait for my wedding but am not waiting for the HUGE hole in our pocket...hehehehe...

Isa: oh...i think it'll be great to have a planner...maybe can change with a speech and games or maybe a dance since you don't want to have the yum seng part

so your gettin your wedding planner to look for your PG and VG or your just gettin a PG? i'm just getting a PG then just get somebody with a videocam to video the gate crashing i guess..

Precious: welcome!! i'll be having my ROM on 11.11.11 and am still thinking if I should just engage a JP or do it at ROM itself...

I only engage a PG cause VG is pretty ex and you should engage a PG and VG who has worked together before so that everything will work out fine or else the photos won't be that nice with your VG or his camera in most of the photos

you can consider my JP in your solemnization list, he's known as Dr Phua Tan Tee... abit loh soh, but he is good... not stuck up type.. very fatherly.. that y loh soh =)

yeah.. i agree PG/VG must know each other, if not things turn out negative due to communication and "chemistry" breakdown

Chloe: I Signed My Bridal with White Link last year. Our AD supposed to be this year, but apparently it ain a good year for hubby and his family. So postponed to next year. Waitin for our shifu to calculate our Bazi then can fix a date.
Got a PG and VG from WL as an add on onto our package. =)

Am talking with some of my girls who are giving recommendations for the Wedding Planners. Basically I know what I want, the WP will just have to take care of the smaller details, like our florists, GDL, AC stuffs to buy, JP recommendations, and schedules for AD.
(BTW Thank you Shine. I'm still looking around)

We may just have our thank you speech and no games. Probably play a motage for our guests. Half or more are the more senior people, they may not be able to accept or participate in games.

Isa: oh...no wonder...i'm not counting we decided our own date...just an advice...usually PG from bridal studio is not as good as those you find outside...that's what I heard from friends...unless you're both comfortable with ur BS PG style then it's ok...

You need a florist for your bridal bouquet is it? If you don't mind I can recommend you my florist for my bridal and church...i signed the package during BOWS so I had a great deal and my proposal flowers were from them too...

So your doing your own montage or montage of the morning part? Because i'll be doing my own montage to be played before my march-in...hehe...

Your going to ROM on the same day too? I'm also looking for JP just in case we change our mind..

Wow.. Everyone seems to be doing it big I'm doing it a small scale - just ROM and simple dinner at a restaurant with few tables

Let me know if you guys need JP's contact. I used to work with them for ROM ceremonies.

The 11.11.11 is definitely hot, seems like not many hotels are left with slots for this date. Though mine is not on that day, i still keep a lookout for this date when i book my banquet; was curious to see if this date would be snatched up fast!

Great....will consider him...hehe...coz discussed with HTB alreadi...we've decided to play safe and book a restaurant with a private room for our ROM since it's gonna b a very very small affair and our big day is just the next day...

Cause want to hold it in the morning and lunch after solemisation so can go home and prepare for the nx day and i'm sure most of my relatives would be in s'pore alreadi...

happylilone: your ROM and AD is on the same day?? i'm left with ROM venue and JP only but i think these can discuss later on since just going to have it in a restaurant...i think you can start searchin for AD venue already cause I think if your booking hotel most should have their pricelist out or coming out very soon..but I know that Pan Pac at marina pricelist will be out in June only I think..

chloe11: In the event that you are unable to get hold of Dr Phua, I can pass you another contact, Mr Wilson Song. He's very friendly and I've even seen him helping couples to take pictures and videos for them.

Chloe: nope.. My ROM is in Jan and AD in Nov.. But I do consider myself as a nov btb as it's a much much more formal event compared to ROM..

Yar been scouting ard.. And gathering prices where I can..
I'm with Sattine for BS.. Confirmed only last week.. Lucky FH likes it.. He can be rather fussy..

happylilone: i agree...ROM is just a small event compared to AD in Nov...i'm not sure if the price would be higher cause I know for 11.11.11 some hotel increase their prices.

I saw Sattine gowns and I loved their gowns but we didn't feel that comfortable with them and I did read some bad reviews bout them...hope you'll have a pleasant experience...

So i guess your PS would be next year as well??

Chloe: well.. I guess the reviews are rather mixed. I loved their gowns too (both my gown are MTM actually, but may go for OTR).. And i had already set my mind on signing with them. It also happens that I was lucky to take over the package from someone else and had a v good deal..

Yup.. My ps will be next year and now busy searching for ideal location for my ROM.

Does anyone know if the glasshouse at villa raintree still exists? I do know of bad reviews.. But it's tempting to do such a romantic ROM..
