Hey Gals if u looking for v high heels can chk out this shop at City Plaza. I think its on level 3 or 4. Called Midas... Another shop is Aldo. They got damn high heels la...

With 3inch... im already struggling hahaha cos Im not v used to too high heels. but luckily my hub not that tall. so still ok. i can wear lower heels.

by the way, PS no need wear new heels de cos most of the time cant see. all my photos... the gown cover the shoes! Cnt even see lor

oh ya cos the MUA will not be with us during the outdoor shoot...then if we were to bring our own lipstick will it not match the colour?? or just bring along lip gross?

Paradise - U are rite that most of the time we dun have to wear heels during Indoor PS.. but U must remember to stand on those thick telephone directory. If not, U will look like a dwarf when the pics come out.. A few of my GFs said the PG forget to remind them to stand on it.. they look so short and the pics not nice..

I was looking at other threads about PS. Some brides recommended to wear flats/sports shoes when taking outdoor PS. Reasons being easier to walk esp those who want to take pics at water-breaker.
 
i only 152..my HTB only 160..both of us not very tall..but i need to wear 3.5~4 inch heels else wont look nice..

Any my HTB also need to find taller shoes!!!

Hoping for a similiar dress, budget should be ard $30. I'm thinking of the ebay store "Ever Pretty" but problem is, must bid then u can get the super low price.

Was worried that if I bid for 2 pcs and then no stock for the other 2.. haha..

I face the same problem too, but more only getting the right style/design that suit all the jie mei, which is quite hard...

talking abt bridesmaid dress..ur jiemeis all same size n height? I got difficulty manz..I have 5 jiemeis, 4 same height almost ,another 1 same height as me...scratching my head to buy the dress for them or ask them juz wear what color theme I suggest..coz they might not like the dress also.
 
i'm bringing 4 pairs of shoes for my PS this thur..seems like abit kua zhang hor..

anyway, just bought a pair of white boots today..cos i have a white short ballet-like gown and i saw some brides wear short gowns with white boots and thought it looks quite nice

Jiemei dresses very hard...All different shapes and sizes and i don't wish to force them to wear colours they don't like...will ask each of them to give me a few colours they dont mind wearing then i will decide from there...so far, the only common colour is black...haha...

I think if u gals wan them to follow a colour theme, must tell them earlier so that they have time to source for outfits

PS EG cos black gown so I brought a pair of black shoes

Outdoor Casual x 1 pair sneakers
Outdoor long gown x 1 pair of used ROM shoes
Outdoor short gown x 1 pair of pumps

opps hope im not the most Kua zhang one here -.-

Anticipate: Did that, they say if I want the low price of AU$12.99, I've got to bid. If not per dress is abt USD$64.99!! Alot of diff.. As for discounts, only 10pcs at 50%discount, still so ex abt $32.5USD!!

Jaq: Ya my jiemei abt the same size. So i think its ok to buy the same. The most, alter abit here and there.
 
i had shortlist 3 evening gowns.. but receive a call from WL that someone else had confirmed the EG that i wanted to have..

Sad =( some more the couple's AD is also the same as mine...

There's one place at Far East called Love Potion that's quite popular for doing tailor made jie mei dresses. A friend of mine went to BKK to get the dresses for her jiemeis...another bought online...

I actually did what cheekychick suggested and luckily for me, they all had one colour in common which happens to be a fav colour of mine and goes quite well with my church floral decor... so i heng lah in that sense...but i'm basically letting them get their own outfit coz all diff shape, sizes, height and style =)

I'm back from my gown selection after spending 6.5hrs there!!!

Really it's not an easy task, so many gowns all so pretty, but U like front of this and back of another gown, then with this design U want in another color etc

Then realise I totally cannot wear any off shoulder clothings, I really look like AUNTIE going market!!!
Always thought that look very sexy... *_*

I forfeit the hotel's non-refundable deposit. There is no impact on the wedding gowns as I still need them.

PS wise, the studio shoot now rescheduled to Mar/Apr 2010. The AD package I gave to my mom &amp; sis for their glamour shoot (since they also have made special gowns for my wedding). For my AD in Brisbane, our photographer friend who is living there, will do the job &amp; then I will get it produced in Singapore.

Wedding stationery - haven't printed yet &amp; just artwork was done. So once the Brisbane details are confirmed, I will get them to amend thats all.

My wedding is still in October 2009, but the date is changed to 24 Oct now

It's not masking tape all round.. it's jus to the bottom. Do one time can last the whole day liao...Dun bother to try to stick bra on after that also.. impossible to do that.. i tried..Can ask your coordinators or your MUA. They should know. Mine was actually done by my MUA cos I have no idea how to do it.. haha.. but now I know.. can do it on my own liao.

But hor, not suitable for sensitive skin ppl hor.. My skin not sensitive one I also have a red mark at the end of the day.

Mashi, i did think about it. But with everyone complaining abt Sentosa - how inconvenient it is, how expensive etc etc, i didnt dare to try. And my hubby say just leave it. So okay lor .....

Thanks. Quite stressed now. Its like starting from scratch again &amp; now I am planning it from Singapore. And i only have 6 months to plan! Stress stress

But there are more venue options there - beach, mountain or city. No need to be tied down to hotel restrictions etc.

Us no. We both have jobs in Singapore &amp; are happy here. But my hubby's family lives in Brisbane and his grandmother is very old. Thats why we decided to hold it there instead of here.

yup yup the contest was fun! only tirin part was had to report at 7:30am for make-up &amp; rehearsal..was so sleepy.. the contest was only at 4pm!
managed to come in top 5!

the way they announce the winners very confusin liao.. they called out 10th to 6th in random order.. den called out the winner.. n then the remaninin top 5 in random order again.. i was quite confused n asked my bf on stage.. so wad position r we?? lol

Morning all!

My papa and HTB's mum both suddenly pester us why we don't want to hold banquet, even a small one or just a buffet at our hometown etc etc etc... *roll my eyes*

Coz relatives been telling them this and that. (Really disgusted with relatives right now)

But lucky they listen to us and do not insist we follow their suggestions. So we insisted we do not want to hold banquet or anything.

Very sien le, so near the date then 'bomb' us with such requests.
