Not for my case, my mum house is @ Macpherson & his @ lakeside. So during dating days, my fh used to send me home then he took a cab home.

Wow, since a few of us are staying around west. Next time can have a gathering.

Hi praisey... They've eased somewhat already, but it was horrible in the first 2 weeks. I thought it was the cars that were jammed, so I took the bus and got stuck at the old woodlands centre for 15min before I got off and walked in. None of the buses were moving at all! Most people walked into customs.

I hope you have a fun time for your final fitting tmrw!

I don't think the engraved letters will collect dirt...we engraved our couple rings and it didn't collect dirt. Only thing is, each time of polishing will make the engraving less prominent.

wah, you work very fast....so fast go and buy the paradox shoes already. The first pair (champagne ones), I like them. It is one of my short-listed ones...but will wait till the hdb results are out then decide on whether to buy or not.

Yep, I am looking forward to the collection of the rings...initially thot can collect on last Sat...then I had the crazy idea of doing a series of photos on my HTB collecting the rings and going in and out of Cartier...but he don't want to follow my crazy plan...

Sigh, yesterday my HTB said I am putting on weight...I am going jogging later!!!

i feel so sian esp when i was kena bugged when i took my 1st gown in....d feeling was so horrible n uncomfortable, somemore there r other ppl outside, it was real embarassing though they'll put in a nice way e.g u need help wif d zip or gown etc but i felt like i was being monitored

Currently in my list is only a few things below:

3. ROM website to book date

What other things am I missing out here? Hope you all can give abit of advise. Thanks in advance!

they kept saying dat all their gowns r exlusive n they do not want it to b exposed b4 their fashion show etc, so they dun allow us to take any pics of d gowns...smtimes it's so difficult to seel opinions when ppl dun see ur gowns...
im still feeling d effect now though they treated me better after i dumped my bag outside d fitting rm...

so how's everyone preparations?I'll be having my GDL on sunday....Just manage to enagage a VG (Image of Wisdom) at the very last min cos hubby wants to let his parents enjoy the wedding process although they r unable to attend.My date is like quite hot,most of the VG tat i shortlisted r unavailable.

Now busy selecting hairstyles for AD,sourcing for hand bouquet...any cheap &amp; nice recommendations?

I have not even select songs for my 1st March in &amp; etc...too slacking.

meiling, ah.. they will do it loser normally, till you get ur first or 2nd fittings then will be tucked in to ur size. So u can always go there first and choose the materials, color and design first. Do the first "shell". This will take about 1 mth or more depending on the design. Then by the time you do ur actual size fitting, you already have lost enough weight. If you wanna have this CS for ur foto shoot, I think u gotta do it earlier.

For shoes, you can try pedalworks, they have a few shops around. The also sell alot of blink blink shoes. I usually go to the thomson plaza branch though. The rest i do not know if they have alot of blink blinks.

Anyway if they keep giving you attitude, write in forum BIG BIG, saying bad service loh. They read liao, will realise they will lose more customers.

Meiling, i was in the same situation ley... another girl from my BS PM me over multiply n ask me to add her, after seeing all my pics, she told the BS, and like cant take pics anymore...

and i definitely understand ur frustration of having ppl knocking on ur door n drive u mad, i bet i will give a black face like u if i am in the same situation... having said that, the next time round if the BS staff does the same thing, i suggest u tell her off n ask her to give u more time to try on ur gowns... simply cant stand these ppl....

Sue, prada is nice... guess u have a fruitful trip despite the aching legs....

Jac, providencia is rite, I have to get a flat by this yr if I want to take a HDB loan. If I pass this yr, I would hv a slim chance of getting HDB to approve my loan application as I would enjoy another salary increment (I would exceed 8K ceiling even more). Then I'll have to get bank loan. If get bank loan, it will mean I have to fork out more upfront cash as need to pay 5% in cash to bank. If your combined income has not exceed 8K then it wouldn't be a cause of concern for you. But if you have or going to hit the ceiling, then I think you'll have to be mindful liao.

providencia, HDB called me this afternoon. They need more documents from us. And she can't confirm when they can get back to me.

Hi Meiling, from what I see in your photos, you are a very well groomed lady. Don't always think that you are fat. I am quite fleshy but I think I can live with it and is happy with myself so long as my HTB don't keep harping that I have fat tummy. I agree with SotongLet. Write your encounter in WL's thread and they will definitely make sure such thing won't happen again.

Hi SotongLet, your friend's experience with SWC is what I have anticipated. That is why I decided to MTM my EG. Since I only need the EG for PS in July, think I can wait till they get the material that I want. I will be going down to meet Lynn next Monday to discuss about the MTM. Btw did you sign up with Thomson during the wedding show last weekend?

Seriously... the BS I also dun quite understand.. why need to keep the gown so secretive??? crazy.. if u so famous and gown so nice..then so many bride wear and pose the pic of their AD .. ultimately the gown will be "expose" to the world.. so why can not take pic?? really can't understand le.... ok la.. I mean if u wanna protect.. u can always ensure ppl already sign your package then take la.. just incase got some black sheep just anyhow go into the shop try and take pic then go to another shop to MTM la... that one can understand....

Mei: dun be upset on the door knocking.. think they just lack of EQ..... good la.. at least you fix 6 gowns already

Meiling your BS is WL? Don't let them bully you. You're the paying customer and they have no right to make you feel awful at all. Especially when you got to keep going back to the bs, all the more they should make your stay comfortable.

Choose my gowns and evening gowns already...Got 2 wedding gowns (1 for actual day and 1 for Outdoor photo shoot) and 2 evening gowns 2 for photo shoot and only 1 for actual day)would be going for my photo shoot in Jun. How about u where is your place and date for your wedding date and where did you go for your BS?

I think it really depends on whether you are doing a simple or grand ceremony.

Flora, when i'm applying for the flat, HDB kip calling us to send this doc, that doc...real hassle lor. But just give them what they want. Ultimately they will processed the doc and u will get the loan. U have not confirmed get the flat ah? Their valuation not out meh?
So will you pay extra COV if your loan is approved?

Meiling, wat happened with your BS? WL is? They threw temper at you for "exposing" their gowns? Alot brides tried their gowns also took pix ma...why cant? Dont be upset k.
