. i also have a dinner on the 7 leh, but at beach road hotel. Diana, u be emcee ah? can be mine too wendy, no lah...my hubby dun really noe my frenz...but he will be gng wif me....the english emcee is the groom's frenz...nv meet before...hopefully tat day tings will be smooth...and i tink i need the Thank you speech which the bride or groom will say during the dinner coz me oredi got afew sample emcee script of coz wif all the gals help from this forum hee hee....so do u happen to give a thank you speech during ur wedding and still got a copy? hee hee

I am thinking back to Sg sometime in June, then look for BS, Sign up and PS. I am not sure whether is it possible or not?
I know Sg is more convienience but think about it if I sign Sgd $4000 I can get more perks form JB with RM 4000 woh.

it's true that for a package in SG, u'll have tons of perks for package in JB. but are u sure you have the time and can handle if things crop up? for me, i'd rather pay, than to keep worrying that the BS can't produce wat i wan.. i'm more of the picky type.. so anything i dun like i'll fuss alot..

Like the rest of the brides said, it's convenience that's impt, especially in your case because you're not living in singapore. At least you can shortlist the BS to go to in singapore from us here? As for $ worth, well, for $4000, singapore also can get very good package leh. Think about it, then your flowers decoration of car etc how? Do you have to drive into malaysia, decorate the car, then drive back? Or go all the way there to collect your flowers? Don't forget, you still need at least 2-3 fittings. Do you have the time to go there and back so many times? PS leh? Same same. Just some points for you to consider. Hope that helps

considering ur confused situation, my gut feel is not to listen too much to wat ur relos say. think u might have heard too much. I think wat u nid to do is to seriously discuss with ur hubby how u wanna plan the wedding from Aussie and appoint someone whom u trust to be ur running legs.
1) start with drafting the wedding budget
2) use our previous posting on various styles of gowns, short list the ones u like, make a list.
3) get someone to be ur running leg to visit ur shortlisted BS
4) take some pics & packages to send u for review
5) select final 3 and visit when u return in June.
think that may be more practical.
2ndly, i concur with the brides above. following my comment above, ur running legs will probably be your relos or best gal frens whom I feel will not travel to JB as often as u can request them to do so.
3rdly, if u feel that is too much for u to handle after drafting all the budget and plan, alternatively, u can hire a wedding coordinator in S'pore to assist u.
ps: since u are located in Aussie, think u can do the following:
1) hire a SG PG to do PS in Aussie.
2) hire an Aussie PG to do PS in Aussie.
this will help u not to fly back and for for PS in SGP.

gintonic, how tall are you? For an average height of 160cm, this weight is quite alright. Like what magical says, the thigh area should be well hidden, so no worries.
magical, I've added you if u don't mind. I wanted to tone up my arms too, but laziness got into me and I haven't done any weights for some time.
Anyway, I find that a good way to lose weight is to control what you eat. Drink more water, take smaller meals so that you feel neither full nor hungry after eating. After a few days, should be able to see some effect.

gintonic, think better not go to slimming centres..first u probably have to pay a lot of money before seeing a little effect..also most of the inital period is to loose water not fats..cos fats actually dun weigh that much. i tried to eat some slimming stuff years ago but it tasted so yucky that i stopped after 2 packs..personally think exercise cum a diet (without fried stuff) is still the best way to go. important to be healthy also!
