I'm still searching for a nice saree for my CS....anyone has any lobang or recommendation where to find good quality and beautiful saree besides stylemart? I've combed the Little India but found none....sigh....help!!

hello caityln, you just need to go IDO to fill up the form, i told him i already filled up, but have not received the card, he said he will trust me that i will apply so dont need to show leh. you want to check with him on your date? if he is still available, then maybe we can ask him more. he told my hubby he work with John before, so it is not a prob.
my FH also discuss with BDS further, but to offer the same thing as inspire, he wants to charge us 850 which is way off our budget liao.

How much you pay for your website? The designer design for you or you came out with the design yrself, build the webpage yourself? My company allows us to build and store our personal homepage in their server. But the thing is I find it very cumbersome to do from scratch myself. Tried doing it and even attended a course on building webpages but gave up. Ha. If got people design for us, luggi best and we just throw them the photos.

Hi SK2, so far, we discussed on bigdaystudio, inspire, natural shots, moomedia, wedding papara, captured mom, aspire, beetles.

so far, i love moomedia video best, the video is fantastic, but, 1.5k for 10 hours only. but if ytou take photo plus video then it is 2.1k.

wedding papa is for video only, 1k+ for 8 hours.

wed-tv, quite nice, 1035, but if you take mabellee or jayce for photo can got discount.

BDS is around 790 when he quoted but now increase in website liao.

CM, is the latest interste for us hehehe, but his attitude not so good.

Natural shots, is recommended by watashi, but i did not consider them cos they seem like rushing off and dont even want to show me the whole thing.

went to stefine, but realised it is a house, not very comfortable. 2k for the whole thing, quite a good buy.

i think hamstergal got beetles during open house also 2k for whole thing.

so now the cheapest is Inspire, and angel devt, but for angel, he simply wont reply sms or call, veyr pak chek hehehe.

- Arrange meet the parents session
- Look into GDL stuff, Si dian Jin and Pin Jin
- Honeymoon? No plans yet
- Guest List (tentative)
- Confirm Jiemei, Xiong Di
- Collect and print invitation cards
- Design my own religion invitation cards
- Buy new bedsheet
- Pick up photo album
- Look into songs for photo montage, highlights, 1st March-in, 2nd March in, etc...
- Guest signature album
- Come up with tentative program
- Buy gifts for Jiemeis and Xiongdis

Some of them are already in progress. All of us should be in this stage already.

I was thinking to buy them during the great singapore sale. Since it starts in may, and we don't need it till may right? The time when we "an chuang" or set the bed, should be around may too, right?

mei: U have to go down to their shops and they will let u taste 7-10 types of wine then u decide which want u like. Ya is $15.50 per bottle, price depending on ur taste of wine.

My videography is fr Emotionpi* (replace the * to x) Price is $718. I find quie reasonable lor they will come my hse at 615am without any extra charge. Package include a Wedding MTV and Raw Footage DVD. My friend used them b4.

Mattress is i chose those i feel comfy lor.U and hubby must lie down and test then ask him to toss ard..see if the bed v shaky or have alot of disturbance anot.
Mattress i saw at BeachRoad The furniture mall. havent buy lah.

Sorry as I wont be doing the an chuan thing. My bed sleep until rotten already. Ha. However, i received a file which contains some of the An Chuan details. You may want to check with your Shifu on a good date to An Chuan then you will have lots of babies in future.

An Chuang
Things to Buy:

Small Double Xi Plate
2 Longans
2 Red Dates
Lotus Seeds
Bai3 He2
2 Red Packets (Any auspicious amt will do)
4 Yan2 Ji2 (to place each at 4 corners of bed under mattress)

Procedures to Follow:

1) If groom's parents an1, then couple give ang pow to each of them.
2) If couple an1, no need ang pow for anybody.
3) After an chuang, nobody supposed to enter the master bedroom from then onwards, only couple allowed. But no sleeping on the bed.
4) Xi plate with longans, etc leave on bed for 12 days.
5) Boil water with longans, etc and drink after 12 days. If fall short of 12 days, leave plate aside and boil with water once 12 days is up after customary.
6) 2 ang pows keep, don't use money inside.
7) Yan2 Ji2 don't throw, leave them there forever.

More information on ANchan for you.

You have to choose an auspicious date to "An Chuan" then you have to place the bed according to your feng shui direction. Everyone has 4 different directions. If you & your Hubby have a different direction. Always follow your Hubby's feng Shui direction bcos he is the bread-winner of the family so very important person. OK! Always point your head to one of the 4 feng shui directions when you sleep on the bed. Just get a small chubby boy to jump or roll over your new bed can liao. How to know your 4 good feng shui direction go to this website: http://www.wofs.com and you can find your personal KUA number & your 4 lucky & good directions. It will do.

My gf uses mirage picture, the job is quite well done, but for service the no chap me... =( so like u.. very pak chek... i pay still need me to call..sigh... if I sign with them b4 end mar they are giving 200 disocunt..so will cost 1050, using 1 camera. details i forgot liao as in how many cds & dvds

Congratulations! Time passes by so fast. It was not too long when you ROM and now, you are getting married.

Soon, 1 by 1, we will get married but I am really happy to know you gals here. WIthout all of you, I would have been a complete lost in my wedding prep. Sometimes, when I think about it, you gals have been so helpful as compared to my so-called friends who have known me for a longer period.

You will really see your true friends colours on your wedding. I was so sad for a period of time when I was tyding up my address book. I sms 2 of my friends telling them my wedding date and ask them to let me have their postal address & email in advance. Scared that I may be travelling in APril, so thought of tidying up the address book to save time. They sms me back said that they will let me know nearer the date if they are attending or not. I was upset and I told them that I will of course check with them on their availability nearer the date but right now, all I wanted to do was to keep an updated copy of the postal address and email and more importantly, to keep in touch. Was really feeling down by their sms.

I have not been to any wedding shows either. If you have any particular BS in mind, think it would be good for you to see what they have in store for you and they provide the latest design. if you are medium/small size, it would be good for you to get the latest and OTR. Cheaper that way too.

For your BS, state ur budget, selection criteria u expect from the BS. That way you can shortlist those few that falls into your expectations.

Have u got a banquet venue. better book soon if you have not.

Hi Maiden, J & A does alacarte and hence I would tell them which photographer, mua etc i want and see if they can assist me in sourcing for them for better deals. I got everything from J&A. Flowers, gowns, suit, makeup, photography.

Hi YSL, yeah sunblock helps but for me no sun till after wedding as I am already so tanned. The ivory gown on me looked so distinctively white. heehhe

actually hor.. i base on my gf's quote.. hers is 1.3K.. so to me, anythg below tat i'm hapi.. but the work mus be good lah.. i dun like CM is bcos i find their video blur and the action they ask the bride to do very funny... i dun wan anythg on purpose.. jus capture the event will do.. =) and service very impt.. i mus be comfortable with them... i have quite gd impression with boxset bcos of the svc so far and they told me they work with 2 cameras so that it's from diff angel and morng they can capture the groom side too... i tot tat was quite gd.
