Hi, i'm doing mine on 21 Dec 09, going to be at Peony Jade at Keppel Club with nice outdoor gazebo. Price seems reasonable given that food quallity is supposed to be good. Price wise similar to those hotel ROMs with hi-tea but min 30 pax. We only have around 20 pax, so figured why not get better food.

Will let you know if the venue turns out to be nice.

All> Hi. Decided to put up some information here as I do not log into this thread much. My ROM menu is taken from Aug 08, restaurant usually change their menu so its better if you all can get the latest copy from the restaurant itself. We paid for the lunch package which is S$838++ per table and we had 2 tables in the pvt room. The solmization table is being set up for us at no extra cost on that.

You all can Contact Celest Wong, Hostess of Singapore Marriott Hotel, Wan Hao Restaurant. Tel: +65 6831 4615 Email: [email protected]

If you all need to ask me more on wedding matter am glad to help. You can PM me or look me up at My Bridal Room thread as I am usually there. My Bridal Room thread is http://www.singaporebrides.com/forumboard/messages/1/459753.html?1212461198

Cheers.

Hi all,

Just to share my joyness with those who still searching for suitable venue for their ROM.
I'm quite lost while searching the venue initially.

I had confirmed my ROM dated 10 April at Peony Jade @ Clark Quay in a private room for two tables lunch. Package is 488 ++ per table, including 8 cantonese dishes, free flow of soft drink&chinese tea, set up of solemnize table with fresh floral center-piece set up+pen+ring pillow, set decoration for 5 VIP, wedding favor for all guest.

Ambience of the restaurant quite nice, very chinese style. Think both parent will happy with it, we can go outside have some shot beside SG river as well ^_^

The private room can accommodate up to 24 pax, good for those with small family.
If got more budget, can go for 548++. But frankly speaking, 488 ++ is good enough.

Those with less budget, you can chose 368 ++ or 408 ++, but ceremony hold it at main hall. Think quite nice also, just no much privacy.

Please refer to their website for details.
You may contact Pauline or Jenny.

I had my ROM there last year in July. Check it out!
For strictly 20 pax, Zhou Zhuang at Alexandra also not bad.

Hi all,

I'm considering Tung Lok (Clarke Quay) & Peony Jade(Clarke Quay) .

But problem is I'm thinking holding it during a ROM dinner. So friends & family won't need tk a full-leave or even a half day leave.

But will the JP usual do a ROM ceremony in the night?

Even if we invite the JP. Do we have to treat the JP for dinner with us? Or just give him a anthem for yisi yisi?

Pls adv.

Thanks!
