Four Seasons Hotel

Four seasons is 12-15 tables for their smaller ballroom and 20 for the grand ballroom, ambience is nice at Four Seasons.
The food prepared by the banquet team at Mandarin Oriental is famed to be delicious, it's specially for the banquets, you can't get it from their chinese restaurant.

Hi everyone, saw that the discussion ended on the last thread talking about Mandarin Oriental vs Four Seasons... and the increase in price for 2016 banquet.. just wondering if there are any BTB for 2016? or anyone who has had their banquet done in Jan/Feb 2016? I am a BTB for Dec'16... We had the "this is it" moment when we looked at Four Seasons..

Needed some reviews/comments from the good people here...

Thanks!

Hi, I am a groom to be at Four Seasons in Dec also. I booked the venue last year, you can email the coordinators for the pricelist, they made some changes to the menu from last year. I heard from my friend who attended a wedding there that the food was good.

Hi, anyone had their wedding at four seasons recently? Able to share your experience? I heard they are not very flexible with perks. Is it true?

Can I ask whether the wedding coordinator would be present on the evening of the wedding dinner? I would be having my wedding dinner on a Sunday and I understand that there would be banquet supervisor, but should the coordinator be meeting me when I check in at about 3pm just to make sure everything is ok?

My wedding coordinator is Lewis Low. Does anyone have any experience with him so far?

Hi LTY, when is your wedding? I had my wedding in December already. You will meet the banquet captain and manager before the actual day and they will be the one to coordinate the actual day. Dont worry! They will handle everything and make sure things goes smoothly, they did a great job on mine! You just go down to the ballroom before the wedding to make sure everything is in place, do update them on any last minute changes to the guest list or special requirements, they will take care of it.

My wife and I just booked our wedding lunch at Four Seasons for next year and we were quite impressed by the hotel and their sales service. We were deciding between Mandarin Oriental and Four Seasons, and decided on Four Seasons because my wife really loves the ballroom. It has really nice tall windows, and the natural lighting is really awesome during lunch. Really cliched, but when we walked in to the ballroom, we both went "this is the one" (and at this point, we had pretty much seen all the major 5 star hotel ballrooms).

Oh, if you are interested in FS, be sure to ask about their AMEX* promotion - we got 20 extra bottles of wine for free, and given people don't drink much during lunch, I think that's definitely more than enough. I was quite surprised by how generous they were, given that FS has a reputation for being really stingy with perks.

*note: you need a real Amex card, not a bank AMEX card, though it shouldn't take more than 3-4 days to apply for one
