I'm considering MBS as my wedding venue. Should be doing luncheon as it's more affordable.
For my bridal package I signed with Bridal Concept. Anyone has any experience with them?
Still looking out for AD photographer/ videographer and photobooth/ live band if budget allows. Saw some of the reviews of the AD photographer and videography!! If yall have any photobooth or live band to recommend, or any ideas on how to DIY a photobooth, please do share

Hey babe! i heard that some AD photo company offer photo booth as a top-up or freebie. We decided to get a pro Emcee instead of Live Band as most of our friends are quite soft spoken keke

I’ve finally set a date for my wedding next year. It’ll be exactly 1 year from today. Initially booked Master David Tong, but he’s too popular and our appointment with him is schedule until mid July. HTB don’t wna wait for so long as meanwhile we can’t do anything like booking the venue for hotel, bridal etc. Ended up we went Yuan Zhong Xiu outlet at Nex.
Came up with the date – 10 June 2017 (Saturday)

Yes! I am looking at them now as well. But don't know why holiday inn is half high ceiling lol but their crystal chandelier is damn nice! Just I'm very concern of pillars cus I attended one wedding with pillars and whole night I see nothing lol!
Yes I have scheduled a appt with Orchard hotel tml! Hope everything go smoothly! I'm going furama riverfront tonight as well! Been hopping hotels so many times until I think it's so tiring to find a good high ceiling pillar less ballroom with cheaper rates yet good coordinator. Guess I'm alittle fussy. Hope I don't turn into bridezilla so soon. Hahahahahah!

! It is just fits your criteria hehehe. Also u can try Hilton Hotel? but in terms of coordinator I prefer Orchard Hotel coordinator Good luck and enjoy the process

I was at orchard hotel area few weeks ago and saw orchard hotel was next to orchard towers which is known to have hookers appearing at that area on Saturday night.
If u like the place, is better u check the surroundings as well
Ya there are a lot of Thai club there. Actually I don't really like Orchard hotel tbh, it's just that I need to open up my choices man. Sighed so hard to book my venue lol. Already got snatched twice lol

I've signed up with Louvre for the local outdoor prewed shoot but have not arrange for my shoot yet. Still thinking which are the best month to arrange for the shoot. Been stalking their fb for sometime before we went down and was kinda of psycho into signing up since it was the first bridal we had visitedI don't see much reviews about them. Perhaps anyone who had rendered their service can comment about it?
I would say the package that we took is quite basic. Service wise quite ok as they reply to my queries rather promptly.

Depends on what package u sign with them. Thematic Concept shoot or thematic styled shoot. There are few stuffs that u might want to take note of:
1) we were only given 2.5 hours of gowns fitting
2) transport of pre wedding shoot will not be provided
3) ensure that you ask them clearly the differences between concept and styled shoot
4) what kinds of props will be included and provided for free for different concept & styled shoot
5) ensure that all clarifications and agreements between you and the sales coordinator are clearly written in black & white in your sales agreement. sales team and wedding coordinator will be different group of people.

Such coincidence! Just confirm the package yesterday, hopefully the pre-wedding shoots will be what we really want. Any suggestion for outdoor photo shoot? We're thinking about Kulai Farm.

Hello ladies! I just went down to Odelia Bridal and Rico-a-mona today.
Just want to share my opinion and feedback. we weren't really convinced by Rico on their photography and MUA. For Rico, IMO, they do have alot of gowns and their service is also quite good. but then their photos are more general and it's their gowns that are special.
For Odelia Bridal as we feel they are more flexible and they go for quality more. n my friends tell me that it's either i go for the photo quality or the wow-ness of the gowns. but i was determined to find a studio that can offer both! their package is really competitive and they include alot of perks that i can't seem to find anywhere or maybe i dont knw how to bargain enough.
the boss of the studio is Rex from Luvaddict and previously 2 of us photography. and he's the main PG and the one who is going to take our PWS too. And as for their gowns, the lady boss designs them herself, and from what i understand she says there's new arrivals coming in every mth. I tried like 2 gowns today n i was sold~ their styles are more classic. and their photos are unique. HTB was really impressed with them and we signed with them.
i'm not paid to give this feedback in case you are skeptical. a genuinely overexcited BTB here! LOL.

Lunch is definately cheaper than dinner. However, my HTB and I decided to take dinner instead as we like to have a sunset feeling for our solemisation and we will have more time for photoshoot.
It is up to yr personal choice.

Quite alot of people do lunch these days, I guess it is how you plan your time to do the lunch. I am doing a lunch as well - with solemnisation and tea ceremony at the hotel. Not having gatecrash too, but will have mini photoshoot with bros and sis. Think time wise should be manageable.
Lunch is generally cheaper than dinner, though I recall Grand Hyatt's lunch is quite pricey, almost the price of dinners in some other hotels! But really beautiful venue

I am doing lunch too because it is cheaper and my htb and I would prefer to get it over and done with it, so we have time to handle the admin and early rest. Also, we feel that people will not drink as much alcohol as compared on dinner. We will also solemnize in the hotel and skip gatecrash.

Personally I feel they didn't really hard sell ba. But usually will say that the price they give u is first time de price. Next time u come back not this price le. Haha.

personally I am doing a solemnisation in the morning and lunch in the noon. so I don't find it rushed la. cos imo, aft the lunch we still have like the evening n the rest of the night free.

I went yesterday afternoon, their gowns are really really pretty, but just feel like there's no vibe or connection between me and them. I don't feel motivated to sign with them other than their gowns. hahaha.

Hello! I'm a Holiday Inn Orchard Bride. Personally love the complimentary photobooth + the perks given. Am doing a luncheon btw. Speedy replies from coordinator. Agree the ballroom isn't the high ceiling type, but I love the chandeliers gives it a grand feeling. I love the privacy of both ballrooms (separate floors) v nice bridal suites! Hope it helps!
My ballroom also doesn't have high ceiling~ actually not too sure why must have high ceiling though. I know it makes the place look bigger... That's about it right?
Haha yea, I find it cosy and don't need high ceiling. I'm not v tall anyway haha! Just wanted an intimate yet kinda class feel.

We will also prefer to have more time for our friends after the banquet as half of my guests are going to fly in from overseas. Now we plan to start preparing at 4 am. How much extra will it cost for the photographers and videographers?

Wedding Planning: 10 Things Brides Forget To Do ... and now that all of the final arrangements have been confirmed, it's been a nonstop party. .
Early surcharge could range from $50 or $100+, it could also be a fixed price or by hour.. really depends on the PG & VG. Same goes for MUA!
I have read some poor reviews about them in other forums and don't know why the victim mentioned that they can't expose what went wrong. Maybe they were being threatened not to disclose.

iam LVB bride too. who is your coordinator? usually their reply took more than 5 workings day.
In average, they replied my emails in 2-3 days. Sometimes, they responded on the same day and I remembered that is 1 time their reply took longer
when I requested for some changes which maybe require some checking of dates availability. I think the response depends on what we ask.
When is your wedding?
Anyway in overall please do not sign with them. ..i seen too many reviews about them. Eg having Chris Ling as their photographer but the pre wed itself is not him but someone else.

how's your coordinator?I have bad experience with Lourve Bridal too, they quoted more than 5k for a local pre wed shoot initially. Wasted my 2 hours there, limited dress to choose from and nothing from there really impress me. The couple beside us was all the way black face as their costs are too high and non-negotiable. We waited almost 30mins reading brochure before they attended to us, even though we have booked the appt online more than 1 wk ago.
