I'm a May 2015 BTB too! =D
I loveeeeeee wedding paparazzi's videos but their pricing is omggg, jaw dropped.. too pricey.
I gotten my packages of pg, vg, childhood montage and photobooth at a super reasonable price from Pentagraphy Studios. You may want to check them and their works out. :)
Hihi thanks for the info I will also check out pentagraphy studios :)

I will also getting photobooth from vendors but will be doing DIY candy bar.

I'd like a candy or dessert table too!! But thinking whether worthwhile to hire someone or save $ by DIY-ing lol... some of the companies that specialises in dessert tables are very expensive!!!!

I waiting for wedding shows' perks. I think for some of the hotels it is one of the additional perks if you take up with them during the period.

30th May 2015 must be a good date! Haahaha... I am also on that same day.
@zrhs, I almost chose CSC hilltop... But in the end, I took Tim Palace as I cannot make up minimum table for CSC hilltop bigger ballroom.

Wow! Haha. Did you all go to see any master for the date?

I also want to do a dessert table. Some vendor really provide very nice set up. $700-$1000 is really expensive.

I agree... If you have jiemeis who can do the decorations, then order dessert items from homebakers or bakery, I think can save alot there.
I will be asking my friends to help on that.

Hi, I took 10 hours PG, 10 hours VG + 5 hours VG + Same day lunch edit, 2 hours photobooth + childhood montage, all for less than 3.5k :)
If yours is a dinner wedding and you dont need an additional VG (I took because of church wedding + lunch edit), it would be less than 3k for sure..

All my reviews are based on lunch banquets:
PRP is a good place, it's new as well.. But the coordinator I emailed with was a long two weeks MC and then followed by maternity.. But it's opposite my office also la, cant imagine wedding day also come back office area to "work".. But they do not provide wine, so gotta buy your own or from the hotel but they do waive ALL corkage charges.
I don't meet Pan Pac quota, so didn't ask.. And it's the most expensive..
MBS heard was a shared changing room and of course shared reception area.. Parking is expensive for those without coupons..
Swissotel is the cheapest, I never visit them as well..

Better to check with the hotels if they allow you to bring in outside food.. :)
Mine don't for sure but they do provide such service..

I nego with them for the min. table for the biggest ballroom. I only what the level 4 ballroom if not i wouldn't sign. lol
So my maximum number of guestlist = to my min no. of table commit to hilltop csc.

30th May not my first date. I wanted 27June but it was taken...... :(
I booked during CNY this year.. someone more ganchiong and kiasu booked it last year!! :(
So my next available date is 30th May~

Thanks for sharing! Heard the same thing about MBS. My friends who attended wedding there also commented the ballroom itself is very far from the hotel.. But from the pics online, the ballroom seem nice!

I have just viewed Swissotel Merchant Court, ballroom is actually quite nice, but the hotel itself looks old :(
I really like Parkroyal Pickering, but they have maximum table of 30 which might not be enough... T_T

The restaurant I booked initially do not allow me to bring in outside food. But after discussing, they are ok with it as long as the table of outside snacks not in the ballroom... luckily we mentioned this, if not last minute they reject, I will feel lost. Hahaha

Wah, that couple booked so ahead.. how can we not be kiasu then? Haha! Luckily you managed to negotiate on lesser minimum table. I was far from the expected, therefore, didnt even arrange for appointment.

initially wanted to take up GCW too. The promenade area is so nice for solemnization.
Actually GCW is not our 1st choice (in fact we were rather late during the wedding show), but after viewing their ballroom and the perks they offered and htb very worried the date that we wanted might be taken by others, we did not hesitate and signed on the spot. Yes, the promenade area is really nice but we are still considering whether to use it for solemnization. Anyway they are kind enough to give us usage of one of their function room for our solemnization in the morning with no extra charge :)

Me too!!! But due to the location my bf choose sheraton..
Haha...initially we were contemplating whether or not to chose GCW due to its location but after doing our math + ambience + perks + services from staff as compared to all venues we have visited, we both felt GCW is where we want to hold our wedding. Hee...some more my htb said it's only once in a lifetime that we got married wa, relatives and friends who care about us won't complaint one.

Yes i will try to do all the DIY and tell them my concept and leave them to deco that day. ~
Hopefully they can do a great job on that =D

I will try to find pictures of those professionally decorated then ask my jiemeis to try to do something like those. Go taobao source for decor materials...
