yarlo, think i better contact my coordinator. omg. so good. i dont even know what is my dream gown. afraid that i will be unable to choose the gown that i like. my friend went 2 times to the bridal shop to be able to get the gown she want. :X

Did your coordinator let you see or try any gown from their shop before you sign the package? Try to go in advance for gown fitting, if dont have the one you want, go for another round to see if those returned gowns have something you want...
I searched online for 2014 gown trend then saw the one I like. I showed the coordinator the gown I wanted and she found one similar in shop...

they did not let me try, yours let you? they got show me afew which i see not bad but never try. hee ok! i also go and search to see. think will have a better idea of what i like and make the selection easier.

I think it's cheaper in a sense t take wedding package...but if ala carte mua I think u can have better control of what u want..ask the bridal shop for mua actual day make up pictures..don't see the normal posed model photos.haha.. i understand what u mean
Yes, they let me try on the gown i like and some others they think is nice... If there isnt new gowns coming in, I will take those I have tried... I have selected some others that looks not bad but when I tried it on, just not suitable maybe because I am not small size therefore, limited...
My big day is on 30 May. If you are going for customised ring size, better order by May since your wedding is in Jan and your photoshoot should be in October if you need your bands for shoot.
Currently, I am left with MUA and emcee... I cant think of any others now apart from guo da li stuffs...

They so nice. Then u got take pic of the gown u want just in case when you go for gown fitting it's not there. Good for u at least no need to worry not to be able to find the right gown.
They dont allow me to take picture though... so I didnt... any idea what MUA to take? I have asked for around 5 quotes...

So far I only asked from autelier make up. Don't know what to look for too but I like their make up like very natural. U got ask if your bridal shop mua charge how.much for ad ma?
Mine's in Jan'15 too.. have yet to settle PG, VG & MUA for AD, been going thru portfolios after portfolios, it IS a headache!!
Can I know which BS did you go to? Are their gowns nice? Thinking of going to have a look..

Mine's on Jan 4. I already have my wedding bands as I'm having my ROM earlier
So am looking at PG + VG first now.. hope to find those together, better chemistry I think, though it might be a little hard to find a VG who can do express SDE for wedding lunch.
A little brush does have nice reviews but they are not cheap, so I'm just keeping them in mind first while continuing the search.

I will try to get some design i prefer.. and also ask seek her opinion. One thing about my coordinator i think she is quite 强势 so i think i will get influence by her alot. I don't have a firm thinking and duno how to nego. Since i don't know what I want I will just trust her suggestions. Just like today, I trust her recommendation on pre-wed PG and MUA.
One thing i know is i want a BLING gown during my actual day. kekekkeke

My bs also quoted me sgd 700. But the sg mua quoted me sgd 700 plus for morning n night but Inc. Free trial and hair styling. Consider quite ex.

To me, i will check what is the percentage level between good and bad reviews first.
Then check out close friends and relatives reviews of their own bridal shop.
Then I decide which to choose.
I prefer to choose a BS by referral of someone i know. beside having to hear what is the good & not so good point of the BS of real experience from somone I know, being referred may/can bargain for more stuff!

I was there on Sat as well, extra perks would be like choose 3 wishes out of 11 items, which includes f&b $100 nett voucher, additional 20l of beer, free flow mocktail/ cocktail during recept, canapes during recept, extra night stay and printing of inserts of invitation cards...

any idea who to invite for a small, cosy solemnisation? had intended to hold solemnisation for just the family (+ JP, just nice 10 pax). however, hotels/restaurants have min. pax of 20-30 usually. thinking of who else to invite.. if i start inviting relatives, we'll have additional 30+ pax, which is too many for a simple solemnisation. if invite few of our closest friends, we'll have additional 10 pax, just nice. but my friends had previously "jokingly" voiced out that they're unwilling to "pay" for additional event other than the banquet (which they already feel that is too expensive these days -_-). such a headache.
Both side parents, silblings, grandparents + BFFs. Some just say say but will still give you a small angbao one bah .
usually like 50$ for solemnisation? Usually BFF give more $$ in their angbao, maybe because of this, they might just drop to the market rate ??
