Hi mandylove,
When we did our research last two months, we were told that Dec 2015 was taken up pretty fast by couples. We got this info from a couple of hotels that we visited, thus if you are looking at Dec 2015 and would really like to secure your date with them, it is best to book now!

I agreed that it better to do it early.. Some hotels may not have the rate for end 2015 but most of it already has it.. It's better to book early as the rate will be cheaper as it may rise in few months time.. Some hotels sales told customer bout the rising of the tax for liquor might affect their perks and rate also..

Don't worry.. Still not too late.. I booked mine for nov 2015 last weekend at m hotel wedding show also~ if urs is 2016, the rate might nt be out yet but dec 2015 most hotel out le.. Orchard hotel that time inform us have to wait for their April wedding show~

Ladies, please remember to bargain for discount or cheaper shipments when buying from taobao!

I'm trying to get stuff like, wedding/dinner gowns, hair accessories, fake bouquet (for pre-wedding photoshooting).
Too many sellers, sort listed many, still a lot to go through though. Apparently my friend who does bridal shop business told me that most of their gowns they also sourced from China.

Try look at the works within your budget and see if you like the feel anot.
I had sent quite a number of request and some are to expensive even though i like their style likewise some are cheaper but i dont like it (just my personally preference)

I think my budget is around $3k+ for both.
I think is quite tough looking for PG & VG because there are too many out there.
Very detail research need to be done.

To me , I think its difficult to research... too many out there!
Most importantly the works must be the style i like.
I love Wedding Paparazzi videography but it was $3200 just for video! Will be meeting them coming Monday for discussion, although it was out of my budget.
Keep thinking if I should double my budget for PG & VG.
For 3K+ can get alots of not bad PG & VG style already! Which are the PG & VG you looking at now?
You may want to try to get quotes from The Pictureque Love, Love Meet Lens, WMA Production, Mosaic Studio, I gotten their quotes and fall within your budget.

Yes there are too many out there to choose from and I am really afraid to make the wrong choice. haha.
$3200 is really very expensive but if you really like it and cannot find others that suit the style you want then I feel can invest. Once in a lifetime!
Maybe you can double your budget on PG & VG and save on other stuffs.
Currently I only gotten the quotes from V-In production and 50nfifity Productions.

I also thought of getting photo booth and candy bar during the cocktail time.

I gotten my packages of pg, vg, childhood montage and photobooth at a super reasonable price from Pentagraphy Studios. You may want to check them and their works out.
