Halfpenny London’s “Speak” Collection: An Homage to Creativity, Identity and Self-Expression
Known for their romantic yet modern creations, Halfpenny London’s latest collection Speak is an ode to self expression and individuality.
Halfpenny London’s latest Speak collection is the dream of every romantic bride who isn’t afraid to flaunt her individuality. Inspired by designer Kate Halfpenny’s journey of self-discovery and expression, Speak is a collection that allows every bride to speak and tell her story in her own way, paying homage to their individuality.
The collection stays true to the label’s signature style and consists of a line-up of beautifully vintage and modern bridal separates and accessories that can be interchanged and worn in different ways to create a diverse range of silhouettes that’ll allow brides to create their very own wedding dress, be it modern and classic or ethereal and romantic, or perhaps, a mix of both.
Every piece in Speak is a dialogue between the designer’s vision and the bride’s personal narrative. Every stitch, every drape, every silhouette tells a story, right down to the choice of fabric and embellishment used. The conversation continues with the bride’s choice of apparel from the collection and how she chooses to mix and match with other pieces to create an outfit that is a representation of her person, her elegance and grace and her story.

Pair this ensemble with the Broad Lace Veil and you’ll look like you walked out of a dream. For a more contemporary edge, the Alice Dress with its mesmerising floral lacework and slight padded shoulders gives the India Slip Dress a more modern twist. Pair this look with the Emma Veil for a touch of modern femininity.
