The Personal Hand Analysis is a complimentary service provided by I-PRIMO to enhance your ring shopping experience through a thorough evaluation of your hands and a series of questions to understand your preferences and style. Conducted by a qualified specialist at the boutique, he or she will recommend rings that are most suitable for you based on the findings.
Image by SingaporeBridesImage by SingaporeBridesI had the opportunity to experience the brand new Personal Hand Analysis during a recent visit to the I-PRIMO boutique. After making sure I was comfortably settled at one of their cosy and private enclave, my dedicated I-PRIMO specialist, Xinci, started to go through the Personal Hand Analysis with me.
The Personal Hand Analysis consisted of three quick and easy-to-answer questions on my hand features, personal dress style and lifestyle. To determine the most ideal band thickness for my finger, Xinci used a special tool to measure the length and width of my ring finger, while I answered the remaining two questions. Based on the findings of my Personal Hand Analysis, I was recommended the Sirius engagement ring, a classic six-prong solitaire ring with a little triangular window at the bottom of each prong and a band that tapers in towards the diamond.
Image by SingaporeBridesImage by SingaporeBridesAlthough I do prefer fuss-free rings that I can wear on a daily basis, I shared with Xinci that I would also like my rings to have a touch of design and femininity. Based on my feedback, Xinci recommended a few more designs for me to try on. Even though it was a ring that did not fit my findings based on the Personal Hand Analysis, Xinci recommended that I try the Aurora wedding band, a wavy ring band with two materials melding together and side stone’s on the bride’s ring.
To be honest, it wasn’t a design that I would normally go for, but I decided to trust Xinci’s keen eye and tried it on. I have to say that I loved how the ring fit perfectly on my finger, and how the wavy design made my finger look slimmer and longer! The row of stones also added the perfect amount of bling and femininity to the ring – just the way I would like my rings to be!

One of the rings Xinci introduced based on the findings of my Personal Hand Analysis was the Kazahayboshi engagement ring, one of their latest ring sets. Inspired by the Southern Cross twinkling in the southern night sky, the newest and smallest constellation created during the Age of Exploration, the Kazahayaboshi ring set was designed with the hope of becoming a guiding compass for a newlywed couple’s intertwining lives.

The complementary wedding bands in this ring set features the same intertwining shanks in two contrasting colours that symbolises the presence of a source of light in your smooth sailing voyage.
Based on my preference, Xinci also recommended the recently launched Yutsuzu engagement ring to me. A single-stone solitaire ring encircled by a petal-like pattern with milgrain detailing, resembling the petals of a rose in full bloom, the Yutsuzu ring is named after the beautiful Venus gracing the sunset skies, symbolising an expression of the orbital pattern known as the Rose of Venus.
Yutsuzu engagement ring, image courtesy of I-PRIMOWhile all three engagement rings I tried on were beautiful and extremely comfortable to wear, I have to say that I liked the Aurora ring more than the Yutsuzu ring, surprisingly. Without the Personal Hand Analysis and Xinci’s keen eye, I would have reached out for the Yutsuzu ring as it has the whimsical and feminine design that I usually go for. However, after seeing how the Aurora ring looked on my finger, I have to say that it was the design that made my finger looked the best out of the three.
Based on my Personal Hand Analysis findings, the Harmonia wedding bands were the rings most recommended for me. But like the Sirius engagement ring, I preferred something with a little design and femininity. With my preference in mind, Xinci recommended the Hatsuakari wedding rings.

Like the sunlight shining through a gap in the mist, the use of the Egasumi pattern on the Hatsuakari wedding rings symbolises that there will always be a ray of hope in your marriage, representative of the commitment you have towards each other.

Xinci was a great host during my visit, making sure I was comfortable and heard, and patiently went through various ring designs and styles with me. She even made personal recommendations based on my preference and the outfit I was dressed in that day that I ended up loving more than the one I would have chosen on my own.
