sorry.. to clarify...i got the entire package, including pre photoshoots and AD gowns etc.. the only thing we didn't confirm to top up on that day was the AD Photographer at a nominal sum.. cause YC said don't top up first.. in case we win the AD Photography since it's one of the prizes.. haha.. so we took her advice.. she also mentioned even if we don't win , we will still be entitled to the price she quoted for the AD Photographer.

So the OTR gowns are pretty good enough? Was still worrying as i did not negotiate for MTM gowns and i havent seen their OTR gowns yet..

yes, i think the OTR gowns are pretty enough for me.. in fact, YC was telling me they can customise some parts for me.. like if you prefer a shimmery feeling underneath, or like if you want some shimmer at the bottom.. but of course, if you want like gown A top, but gown B bottom, that is considered MTM already.. i went to the one at AMK link. .there were way more dresses there.. you should go and take a look

yes yes they told me i can add on to the gowns too! like if wanna add on lace or beads etc to the gowns, its all free. u made me feel so comforted! haha. i would love to view the gowns! but im only supposed to go choose my gowns some time in December. overly-excited about it though. hahaha.

, but i feel that the selections from AMK is way more.. and i think feels more ATAs too ..haha. you should go down at take a look.. there were more than 100 gowns in AMK outlet.. i tried a few until i got tired.. when is your AD? mine's in may.. they asked me to head there in AUG.. super fast!! but i am wondering.. the selection in august is for photoshoot or? haha..

Wow you ladies are really quite early! I'm not sure if they separate the selection for AD and pre-wedding (because i only bought AD with YC), but my coordinator said the designs change with seasons! So she advised not to choose too early because there will be new gowns

So its fine to just drop by to take a look and try the gowns even though its not the right time to choose gown yet? Haha. My AD date isnt fixed yet. Most prob in early 2017. But ROM in march 2016 and pre wed photoshoot will be in feb 2016! Was told to go select my gowns in december for both my photoshoot and ROM.

I only have the AD package with them! ROM dress was complimentary and the trial makeup+hairdo was done by Denise. I uploaded some of my ROM photos earlier
My AD is Oct 2015 this year. Think my photographer is a freelance gentleman called Edward Lee. I havent been able to find any photos done by him online, only saw 1 album he did. Fingers crossed!
Ive done my gown selection twice. 1st time for ROM and 2nd time for AD wedding gown last week. I didnt find any evening gowns that i like.. so will be going down again this Saturday. Might pass the evening gown to my mum hehe

We paid 5 -6 k, excluding inland transport and went to yangmingshan waterfall and taizhong ~ miao li. It has many nice scenery spots like flowers, white houses, lake and bamboo forest.
Quite worth it though"

HEHE Thanks! I met him up. He is quite a friendly guy.. Will only comms with him what type of photos we like (more like, I like cos my fiancé has no preference usually, LOL).
Oh and my trial makeup with Denise went very well. Love her makeup skills. She is very friendly too! Yep, she is doing freelance right now

By the way ladies! i really managed to transfer my evening gown to my mum. But the selection is not ours but a small little corner.. I was quite appalled because it's quite bohua. The selection is very limited for mothers gowns. Fortunately my mum found something she likes I'll look on the bright side! for future BTBs, I'll recommend that you bargain your mothers' gowns into your package!

It depends! They have 2 units at AMK. One is the gowns selection unit. Theres no dressing table there..so my makeup was done in front of the large full-length mirror. It was a Friday afternoon so there was only 1 other couple. @naiyoucreamy was in the other unit when i was there, with a proper dressing table=P i just teased her about her getting the better room yesterday hehe

I'm done with my photoshoot! It was last Thursday! I really liked the makeup Denise did for me - not overly thick as requested but not too simple for a photoshoot. We all know thick eye makeup is preferred for photoshoots.....
However, I did not communicate with her clearly and specifically on the hairstyles I wanted (had just sent her ALOT of photos with updo, braids, sidedos etc. in a whatsapp convo).
Overall, some the hairstyles she did for me were pretty but a little too mature for my liking. I did not ask her to redo the hairstyles for me because I thought it would be a hassle and I didn't want her to think that I disrespect her skills, haha. I WILL definitely be very specific for my AD.

Abit retro and very lady look but didn't suit my face because my face isn't the slim oval shape kind.... The other look was where my hair were side swept and one side was a bit puffy.
The other 2 looks were waterfall braids (shoulder length hair curled and no extensions on), and a back braided hairstyle with long wavy hair extensions. I love them! I think my face would have looked slimer with added hair extensions for the waterfall braided hairstyle though.
That being said, no regrets for topping up for Denise to helped us touch up our makeup and create 2 more looks for our outdoor PW shoot.
Love her eye makeup and the eyebrows she drew for me alot! naiyoucreamy

I remember the corsage can choose color.. i took light pink.. for bouquet i cant rmb what i chose! My wedding is nxt mth.. so when i went to choose my tea dress n rom dress last mth, i ask about it too. Thats why i ended up choosing. Ahaajaha

I finally went down to YC on saturday to look at the gowns! Saw many lacey gowns, though its not really my cup of tea. Think im weird. Only prefer simple simple gowns. Haha.
By the way, BTBs who took pre-wedding shoot with YC, how do u find their gown collection for photoshoot? I dropped by the studio room with the range of outdoor gowns. Found it to be very limited. And i only saw white gowns! Cant be going for photoshoot with only white gowns right?
