We have been separated for 3 years but did not get a lawyer to do the legal document as both of us can't really afford.
Ever since he moved out 3 years ago, I have been staying in the flat (under our names) and we have been paying for the house loan using our CPF. He has lost his job recently and his CPF can only last the most 6 months for deducting the house loan. He is in debts all these years and now without any income to pay off, most likely he will have to declare bankrupt.
I am very worried at my end and need your advise. I am totally at lost now and I'm so scared that I will have nowhere to stay.
1) If he declares bankrupt, will his creditors come after me?
2) If i file a separation / divorce now, his creditors won't be able to ask me to pay, right?
3) If he declares bankrupt, can i still continue to stay at my house
4) I need to wait for another 3 years in order to get my own 3-room, but i'm not considered a single, should be a divorcee, will I be able to get 3room before 35?
