Solemnisation at Amara Swimming Pool

Hi Shice, I got my petals FOC as the auntie whom I got the bouquet from gave me 1 plastic bag full of petals.
Btw I find they normally charge more exp if they know it's a bridal bouquet.
At first the auntie charged me $50 for just plain. Then just want to add wild flowers, is addtional $20. As long as add, 1 stalk also charge $20.
End up she gave me those that initially she wanted to include in my bouquet to put on my hair.
I felt a bit speechless at first cuz there were 18 roses at first then when I said I want a simple one, she did 15 stalks. End up the 3 stalks she also gave to me and I felt very wasted. Should have included in the bouquet.

Hi Wanqing, congrats!! that's good.. to get free petals.. heh.. sometimes u can bargain one.. but my bouquet comes with my MUA pkg, so it's difficult for me to bargain..

For other brides, perhaps just before the ceremony or after, remember to tell the staff if it is possible to keep some food int he hotel room for u both.. Coz I feel that there isn't time for the couple to eat if they were to entertain their friends and relatives.. I personally did not eat anything.. and they did not save any food for me.. I did request for some cakes though, which they brought up from their cafe/restaurant..

Hi Shice, my gfs took a lot of food for me.
When the staff wanted to clear the area, we requested them to bring the plates to our room.
We were lucky to get a room in Tropical 6. The room is great!
Overall the food is very good. My mum even self pack some back as too much wasted and Amara don't provide boxes nor allow us to pack home.

Hi,
I have my solemninzation at Amara. Mine is lunch, everything is good except for the weather. In fact it is so hot that we don't really eat much. Like the flowers my florist did.

I had mine same day as chemie. Ha. I remembered the cute dogs. Are they the ring holder? Mine was in the morning but had lunch menu as food selection were more. It was raining in the morning and we had to switch to ballroom. i was a bit disappointed but it turned out better than i tot. with the air-conditioned room, my husband felt cooler n didnt pespire as much. he was prepared to be "wet" at the poolside. Service was great. Food were immediately replenished once finished. I am a dessert person. chocolate moist cake n durian puffs were really yummy. Manager and waiters were there to handle all our needs. Really thank them for their service. Thumbs up for Amara.

Hi elyn82, the lunch package I sent one year ago, not sure if they have change it. Min 30 person, per pax is roughtly $50 after all the taxes. But it comes with the use of the pavillion, some simple deco,simple table, reception area flower arrangement buffet, and a room. The flowers I engage a florist outside not with the hotel, hotel charges $450 if I am not wrong

I just finish my ROM at amara a good one , the staff there give good service and ever on sunday my coor Pat is around . thank to her for the good arrangement for me , I really appeciate her help . A good choice for your ROM . all my guest like the food and the place . My day is lucky starting with sunlight when it time to solm the Mr sunlight hide hahaha and MR wind come by

No I just do a simple one myself and with my sis help , I just put extra decor on the 2 table (recep and the solm table only) The floor I put osme flower petal . is more than enuogh lor , less than 50 for all heehee.

actually i think not worth it

as for the Pavilion they only put 2 flower pcs at the front pillar and the solm table have a centre pcs . Anyway we only use the pavilion for 10min and all guest will concentrate on the foods ,heehee no one care abt the decor in fact .

I rather u save the 350-400 to go for a short trip

The deco seems sufficient. I think it'll be better to save on that sum of money. I'm now caught between 3 hotels. Hopefully I can decide soon..

Thx Blissful , The photographer is a freelance ,The video is done by him , the actual photo I still have not load up . The one u see is from my Cousin Husbands.
Deco is sufficient , anyway the 1st view is the recep table so u can actually concentrate on the recep table . I save 350-400 to go a spa trip in batam . anyway only a short ROM session 2-3hr only
