For those who are planning to have their Solemnisation at Amara...I have these comments:
- There will be rose petals lined up both sides of the aisle that you are going to walk through
- They will decorate the pavillion with hanging drapes, main table, a flower centre piece(can choose roses color or geberras), and the seat covers are all provided.
- They'll also place a notice of your solemnisation event at the LCD display at their lift lobby so remember to take a photo of that
- There'll be a sound system and 2 mics so you can pass them the cd of your march-in music..
- They'll provide a white wedding guestbook so no worries (quite simple, elegant and nice)
- Upon check-in, you can try to ask the reception whether if it's possible to request for a late checkout

cos or else, the usual time is only 12noon.
- The weather is quite hot in the afternoon so even if you are having your high-tea reception in the shaded area, it may be quite uncomfortable for your guests (and yourselves) so probably you may want to consider to pay the additional $400plus (i forgot how much) for the booking of a function room for your high-tea reception.
- So far, am very much satisfied with the service levels from Michelle (who had to put up with my last minute changes and requests) and her banquet team (Jeffery) so don't worry. She may sometimes sound curt & probably inflexible but overall she's alright.
- About 3 weeks before your Solemnisation, Michelle will call you to ask about your total confirmed guest numbers and may also email you the pics of the venue decor and the choices of flowers (roses and genberras) and colors in which you may choose from.
Sit back, relax and enjoy your day...
