I tried getting Lim Tze Beng as my solemniser as well. Initially he replied my email very promptly, saying that he's available on that day and asked me to call him. I gave him a call the next day at 7+pm but he didn't pick up the phone. Gave him an sms to request for him to call back. He called back in the middle of the night when I was already asleep. So the next day I emailed him to ask for a suitable timing to call him, but he didn't reply. The next day, I tried calling him again, no answer again. He called back when I was at the bridal studio, so I missed his call. Called him back immediately but no answer again. Then he did not return my call nor email ever again. I think no fate.

Hi Emily,

I almost got him as my JP as well, but was warned by another bride 1 month before my big date.
P/S: I got him to sign the consent form 3 weeks before my big day.
I went ahead to tell him my concerns and how I wanted it to be but he want it to go by his way and i decided to change my JP 2 weeks before my big day.
Luckily, no regrets on changing my JP.

I highly recommend Mr William Cheong!
He is very friendly and nice. The ceremony was simple and sweet.
I had my ROM just yesterday and even though one of my witness was late,
He patiently waited and even volunteered to keep my guests entertained.
In addition, he even gave us a small gift

Im getting anxious. The date for 29 oct 16 is getting nearer but i couldnt get any avalible JP after asking like 5jp. maybe due to the popular of reviews.

Need some recomendation. Also, i heard thy do look at location?

My AD is 25.09.16 , I've been contacted like 12/13 jp. Then so far, only left 4 jp who haven't gotten back with me yet, others are fully booked on my day and the specific time that I asked for. Only 1 jp offered to be later timing like during dinner, but after all my parents in law don't want to have it during rom. So need to keep searching for it again. Sian

I think $88 is the safe and best amount bah....ultimately they need to use their own time and expenses just to head down to help us solemise regardless of location =)
