my wedding on may. coming soon. gowns are all done, need a final fitting next mth.

Yes, my MUA was Ivy. I really like her a lot. Very nice, friendly (and kept saying I look like Sharon Au when I don't really think so.... haha)and very punctual! I like her works too. Very natural!

have juz contacted Jit, he's really nice..
however his 3188 package includes only:
- WG (OTR)
- EG (OTR)
- TD (MTM + $100 top up)
- Men's suit
- Flower Bouquet
- car deco
- AD makeup n hair

is this price correct? but it has no AD photography.. to convert trial makeup n hair for ROM, hav to top up aditional $100

I just signed up with Jit today. Brought my parents along and we r impressed w his friendliness... his gowns are just gorgeous... been to abt 5 BS but Jit's gowns gave me the best "feel". Hope everything will turn out fine for me... 3 cheers to SL!

Yes, I had the same experience as u too. Went to a few BS but only SL felt right for me. I do not like those along the Tanjong Pagar strech and I love the private and exclusive feel that SL exudes. Plus Jit's gowns are second to none!
 
And not only that... service for everything (from Jit himself to the MUA to the flowers & decor) runs smoothly! I think that's really important that one does not experience too much negative crop ups... if it can be helped!

So you can be assured...

And Ivy is really good.

SL specialises in gowns with back details. Like all the satisfied brides here, only SL gowns gives me the "wow"! feeling. I am still in awe of my gown!
 
I just went to finialist my design with Jit last Sat. I must say I'm quite satisfied with his services. He very creative too....he just start sketching after he know what my color theme of my Ballroom.

want to check with you, say, if you all call to make appt with Jit, how long it take for the initial meet up? Do you gals also make appt with other BSs in the same afternoon?

Want to have a feel what shd i do because i think i will want to meet Jit first but not sure whether i should also make appt with other BSs in the same afternoon. Pls help. Thanks

My 1st apptment with Jit was an hour+. He showed me Silverlining package list and some lovely gowns. Then we proceed with discussion on gown details, photographers, florist, MUA, etc.

So you can estimate it will take abt < 2hrs. It depends on whether you try on gowns, going through albums, etc.

When you speak to Jit, time tends to fly very fast. He's such a lovely person to chat with.
 
Anyone took up Jit's package with photography? I realised it comes in 8R.. isnt that very small? I though usual is about 10-15R? I am still considering whetehr to take up coz if need to top up alot for the photos will mean extra cost.
 
Hi De_princess, I took up Jit packahe with photography. I din notice what size cos photography is discussed with the photographer and I topped up $500 bucks only.
 
ok, i have made appt with him already..wah..he very fully booked man..=/ so won't be meeting him so soon.

apple79 can share how much is your package? OTR or MTM with photography? AD photography included?

I took up Jit MTM package w/o photography &amp; car.

Jit recommended a few photographers. I met up with some of them and confirmed with Linn Kong in Jan 07. Paid about $1680

- 20 pg 12"x15" collage
- 5 pcs 12"x15" photos
(To be compiled in album)

- 1 pc 16" x 20" photo in art frame
- 2 pcs 8" x 10" table top

I love Linn, she's so nice and easy going. Our PS was so relax and fun.

IMHO, you'll get a better deal if go direct to photographer.

i've looked through silverlining web and find that this BS offers very sexy and low back gowns.. jit, whose name is highly mentioned here.. is he the boss/designer of this shop?? can i have a look at someone's pics plsssS??????
wanna get more ideas coz i have no idea how i wan my gown to look like......

Mint, is it really cheaper to go direct to the photographer? Coz i called a few b4 and they told me it is cheaper if tie up with the BS but I guess they give alternatives to top up etc. Hmm now still dunno which package to take fr Jit but need to make decision fast

Hi De_Princess, personally i find that is cheaper to go the photographer direct as they will usually return all pics without extra cost. However, if you go through BS, there might be some hidden charges
