Last Sat, my bf and I drove past the site at nite... rather quiet environment... however the momentum for building seems to slow down... wonder got anything to do with recession cos all raw materials ae so exp now...

i think govt has stocked up a lot of raw materials for the upcoming BTOs, so there shouldn't be a prob during these recession period.

nope not yet. u cant possibly paint over the new window right? =p... fitting of windowns will be done after the paintwork is done.

No, PCD is probable completion date for your block. Key collection is normally after the completion of your block.

haha...because 488 is the first blk to be built, and it was first had the roof mostly finished.

well, the rest will follow suit. but mostly 487 will still be the last to be painted.haha...

Wahh I cant imagine we have to wait for all 4 blocks to paint finish before I can get the keys! =(

who told u u need to wait for all 4 blocks to paint finish to get keys?

haha.... anyway, in fact after painting, there will be inspection.only after inspection clear, then they will handover the keys to HDB. by that time all paintwork would have finished. and how they distribute the keys is not going to be all at the same time. the first blk once inspection cleared, they will handover the keys. normally keys collection is different date for different blk. in this case normally will be 488 first, then 490 489 and finally 487.

They will have to wait till all flats r completed and safe to enter the blocks before they could let out even the first keys...

Took some glimpse as I'm reservist this week, can see that blk 487's (think is 487 from the view by the mainroad) roof is still not up yet. the blk beside it is almost done with the painting from the outside view though..

Hi all, just got to know of this thread recently. It's amazing to learn that many of you are very active & passion in keeping close monitoring of the construction progress.

I have selected Blk 489, unit 103.

Thanks for all the pics & updates! Ha..ha...we thot we are the only couple/future Sembawang Green flat owner who go down to the site & take pics of the flats construction progress every 3-6 mths. Hee...hee...now we know we are not alone. Very enjoyable journey to see the flats building up. Cheers!

Hihi.. It has ben raining very frequently these few weeks. Hope it does not disrupt the completion of these flats.

Did you guys note that theres additional "shades" outside the windows? Is it for all the units both side or just certain units? Didn't know got the "shades", didn't recall the design have those "shades". I am puzzled.

I wonder how it would look like standing at the entrance of the park looking into in.

Also do you guys think there would be problem with drying our wet clothings?

Nic...i shades r for blocking direct sunlight.. if u observe close enuff u realise units facing east and west will have these shades while units not facing directly the these directions will not have these shades...

i was looking at the back dated photos posting by Fin...

I only see 490 have those shades outside the windows but not the rest of the blocks. But 490 is not facing East of west right? Or are those shades eventually will be fix on all blocks?
