Hi, anyone had their ROM @ Marriott Hotel? I'm planning mine there and was wondering if anyone has something to share with me. Good or bad !!!
Thank You!!!

Hi, not sure if this is too late for you, I'm holding my solemnise there, should be nice ba, friendly sales coordinator too. If you would like I'll update you after mine on 23 april.

Hi all,

I have booked Mariott for my banquet and will be doing my ROM before the dinner.

How much did your sales coordinator quote you for the usage of the space?

Annabel quoted me $500 which I think it's too much.

Hi Amelia,

I am doing mine on 2 separate occassions. For ROM, I am paying for the cocktail reception for a min. 30pax.

Your coordinator is Annabel too? Hee.. what a coincidence!

When's ur banquet?

Hi sleepyhello,

I took the cocktail reception from 6pm - 9pm. It's $70++ per person (min. 30 persons).

They have others like tea reception, lunch buffet, dinner buffet etc.

You might want to contact my coordinator.

If you are interested, can email me at [email protected]. and I can provide you with more details

Hi happy,

Thanks for your well wishes. It was raining when we reached the second place for outdoor photoshoot. A little disappointing that we gotta give it a miss as the rain is not going to stop! (Predicted by us la) We had to head to the last stop. I hope the photos will turn out good.

Here's one for your viewing pleasure:

My outdoor style...

hi grace! how many guest did you have? you took the cocktail package?

i've having my ROM at pool grill as well, but i'm taking the lunch package, not having a wedding banquet. But i wasnt even given free hotel stay after spending so much. Now feeling a bit heartache.

Another of my concern is the space. I'm ok to stagger the arrival of my guest, but i'm still wondering how to accommodate so many guest in that area although my coordinator assure me that they are able to.

hi lavend3rmist!

i have 60 - 70 guests. Yes, I took the cocktail package!

I did not have a wedding banquet too. But I opt for the cocktail reception at the Legacy suite instead of at the Poolside for fear of humid/rainy weather. I had 5 tables of 10 at the Legacy suite.

My coordinator has been able to accommodate about 60+ chairs at the Pool Terrace Pavilion I think. The only people who were standing were my sisters and hubby's brothers. My page boys and flower girls had no seats too. They sat on their parents lap.

I am holding my wedding dinner at Marriott again this coming Jan 09. I guess because of this, I had a little more bargaining power cos' I am going to spend like 50k over at Marriott, and thus, negotiated for a free room stay.

Talk to your coordinator, trust me they can do 'magic'! Hee.

And if you have multiply, you can add me to view my reviews on Marriott and more stuff on my wedding.

I only upload on my wedding website after the thing is done because my guests are all viewing my websites, thus, I don't want them to know too much on my preparations so that they have a tinge of surprise and not come with everything expected on my wedding day. Thus, update on my wedding website is much slower.

My multiply nick is gracekelvin. You have to add me to view bulk of my wedding preparations as I have set it to be for my contacts viewing only.

i didn't wanted a ballroom/suite for my reception. I prefer everything to be done at the pool, more casual i feel.

how's the food portion? i was thinking of getting them to re-arrange the pavilion area after the solemnization to put more tables for the guests. I think so far i'm the only one that's holding the entire event at the pool grill, cos i cant find any brides with sample pics!

anyway, i've added you in multiply. =)
