ROM at Botanical Garden


Hey ladies, sorry for the late reply. was out of town. There's a wedding show on this Sunday at Burkill Hall Botanic Gardens from 1pm onwards. Entrance at Burkill Gate on Tyersall Avenue. I can't make it so you gals have fun. Will email u the packages soon.
 
Hihi,

I am interested in having my ROM at the botanical gardens. I understand that we just have to write in to Nparks to get permission to use the venue. However, I may not be having a reception or anything like that after the ceremony because I'll have to rush and get ready for my wedding dinner at night. =(

So I just need to someone to help me with the wedding ceremony set-up. Anyone knows where/who I can go to for the wedding set-up (e.g.: chairs, tables, other deco etc). Any recommendation?

btw, package not inclusive of basic flowers decor. If u need any contact, let me know. My florist is quite good, price reasonable as well.

Hi, I've been looking for ROM venues. Recently, went to Botanic Gardens with my finance to take photos, feel that it is a nice place. I've only check with NParks about their function room, not yet the resturants.

Can anyone who had their ROM there, forward me the price packages & photos for Au Jadin and Halia??

Hi Valerie,

I've got in contact with the Halia co-ordinator, Lydia. We would be going to see the actual venue next Sat, before the confirmation. The package that she sent me is the same as the one u sent me. I guess they have standard packages for ROM for Lunch, Hightea, Dinner. 1 package for 1 timing.

Would u mind sharing your photos with us, after your ROM on 14th June, which is 2 days later?

We had a great time yesterday. We had gd reviews of the place from our guests. Food was great except for the smoke salmon which tasted kinda werid. Lol. Will upload the photos soon. =)

Have you found out packages from Halia?

Btw, they're having a Garden Wedding showcase on 19th July. $28 per couple.
 
Have not been on the forum for quite some time. I had to delay my ROM at Halia till next year, but I did met up with event co-ord at Halia. Very friendly... And I love the place as well.

jenny, thanks for sending me the package. they do not decorate the place for you??

girls, if you are interested or already signed on with halia, suggest you go down on 19th july when they are having their wedding showcase and badger them to also extend the priviledges to you!
 
Candy: They only decorate the solemnisation table. So if u want to decorate the whole place + reception area, need to get florist.

I heard abt the 19th July also, it's $28 per couple, sign up before 30th June. Might be going

Everyone: Yup, they do not decorate the place for u. Btw, Jac is quite flexible. Just tell her your budget if u hv one. she will try to work it out for u. =)My pics is available in my facebook if u gals wana take a look. =)

Valerie: Yup, i just signed up the lunch package from them. But my ROM will be March next yr. They included the solemnisation table decor, table cloth + simple flower centre piece.
