RELC Hotel, Tang Court Restaurant

My HTB and I have decided to sign with Tang Court, we will be making the deposit this week.
We're quite pleased with the package and the coordinator... our only concern is the location because it's rather out of the way, but this can be solved as they provide shuttle bus. We're thinking to hire extra bus to fetch our guests.

yup.. we managed to see the suite.. we love it once we went in.. haha.. so huge.. n whats good is its newly renovated!!! overall i think shd be okay..

ya we also went to enquired and Harry told us that they are still discussing the renewal of contral with the hotel. So they will nt be able to accept banquets from July 2011 onwards.
RELC Package to let go 20 - 25tables
The date was initially signed for 1/1/11, but was later postponed to March, however, as we are not able to proceed, they are able to give an open date in 2011 BEFORE JUNE.
The only difference is my package was signed in 2009 for 1/1/10, so managed to deal at a lower price at 468+GST = 500.76 (WEEKEND)
Muslim / Vege @50 per head
Current price is 550 for weekend, you can refer to the website for the 2011 package
Thus I can assured that no one would able to give this offer at a hotel's resturant located in Orchard area.
Only thing is you'll have to add 150 for use of projector.
Other stuffs we opt out is wedding favours because we asked for 2 nights stay at the suite. You can opt back and let the manager Harry know, he is quite accomodating. Even the menu can be changed as long as it is in the same cat.
The package is much cheaper compared to the current price. Have eaten at this cantonese resturant and food is not bad.

Just like to share my comment on the RELC, Tang Court Cantonese restaurant.
I just finish my Wedding dinner on 26 Feb 11 there.
Choose there partly becos would like to have a budget wedding dinner.
Environment wise... hmm very typical chinese restaurant style.
Food wise... I really get alot of good comment from my frzs. they love the duck and the glutinous rice (i specially request to change the menu from noodle to rice)
Price Wise... i got the 2nd highest range which is $586nett. The package is really good where it include free flow of wine and beer thru out the nite. Me n my hubby dun need to worry abt extra barrel of beer open like other place only free 1 barrel.
And not to worry... there is also a free hotel room which is really very big.
Service Wise... they are really friendly.. when we check in, we had a welcome drinks, finger food and fruits provide by the restaurant. Then ard 5.30pm, they serve us dinner as they comment that we totally had no time to eat once start. Portion is big enough that i oso share wif my jie mei
The event whole nite they have a co-ordinator that follow us through out to assist us while the banquet manager is working inside to coordintate their restaraunt.
Only the waitress is not those young lady type... and maybe becos of it, i feel they are like more experience.
Overall comment for this place is paying 3 star price, receive 5 star food and very personal touch feeling.

s for the room is v big.. u will like it as it just renovated not long ago!
