Hello Ladies,
I'm a satisfied customer of Ray! We had a wonderful PS with him, he is so lively, really can make us laugh, so much that we had a lot of shots in candid! Our photo album is so unique & beautiful, our friends and relatives love the album too!

Nice meeting you here!! Yah, i also realised that this thread here isn't active. Ray did such a fabulous PS for us and I thought I have to share my comments and joy here. Hee! Didn't expect a reply though and hey! you responded!! :-)

Have you had the PS with Ray yet? My wedding was just over 3 weeks ago, i held it in Shangri-la hotel. How about you? Are you a bride-to-be?

Are u using Tower or Island ballroom? i'm using Tower =)

So coincidence! Shang!? Good choice! My wedding was held in Tower too! Really lurve the ballroom. It was a beautiful wedding, a dream-fulfilling one. Everything with the banquet was good, starting from the deco to commenting on Shang's service. Really loss for words, Excellence! Both of you have Melanie as ur wedding coordinator?

Haiz, the link to my PS pics website expired. Unless I take time to get them uploaded again. Trust me, Ray is such a good photographer. You will enjoy his presence, his humour.. wahaha. Quite different when we met him the 1st time at his studio to view his works.. thought he is kinda reserved person. BUT, we appreciate his humour during our PS, really!!!! All our pics turned out so natural, no posy shots!

Didn't see u at Shang thread? Cos Whiteangelz and i still pop in there. Looks like quite a lot of Shang brides used Ray.

Btw, have u gone on honeymoon? Where did u go? Oh, and did u use Dolly? Wondering if she's good cos i'm considering getting her for church deco as well =)

Oh, I have not plan for any honeymoon, my coy sending me to a few countries next year so will take opportunity to take that as our honeymoon. Hehe, save money =)

Yup, I got Dolly. Not too bad.. Which church are u holding ur wedding? I also had a church wedding, a Catholic church wedding, i'd used my church florist for the deco instead.
 
Georgia, no wonder i saw u in the Divine thread! So which countries are u going for honeymoon? Sounds cool if u can fit ur holiday in cos it will save u lots of money! We are so broke after paying for the wedding deposits and other expenses. And i saw some CS from Kang's which i absolutely love but which are so ex! Sigh...

Going to use PLMC for church wedding. But they didn't provide any contacts for church florist. Which florist did u use? What is the estimated cost for floral deco?

Btw glad to hear tt Shang did a great job! Mel is great - know tt can trust her cos my friends also gave her fantastic reviews!

Vancouver is one of them, looking forward to the trip, hmm... i tink likely in May/ June.

If you really like the CS, I think you should consider buying.. I bgt my CS from Allure Charix, cost me $299.

For the florist thingy, we had a lady (volunteer) from the church to do up the flowers/ deco for us. We do not know which florist she goes to, most prob wholesalers, she bgt the flowers for us and she charged us $300.

My wedding date is 18th June. I need the photographer badly!!!!!!!

ray is a nice guy and I met him last dec, his package price is around 1.6K but the price may be increased again. his package comes with about 300 4R and a coffee table album, as far as I remember.

Can i just check with Brides that are attached with Ray oNg,

Once after your selection for photos. And before he put them in the album, does he do editing or touch up for you? Not to make you look slimmer but i meant that he touch up on eye bags and laugh lines..

or does he leave them all alone and dun bother making the pictures looks better

I engaged Ray as AD PG for my Dec wedding. Understand that he specialises in film photography but does digital as well. His package is mainly flim. hope this helps.

Well, I have a friend who took up his digital package for her photoshoot and she insisted that Ray will not do any touch up for her, even with her eye bags and all.

Haha.. almost throw an egg on her face cus i think that most photograhers will at least touch up a little. ain't it?

I already engaged him. We will be paying about $2400 for his professional fees. his pictures are very nice and we are willing to pay for it if it comes out gorgeous for us too.

He is quite a quiet man though...hee.my wedding is in June so maybe I will share some of the pictures after with you guys.

I don't think he does touch up cos they are films unless you take the most expensive package which is digital.

Agree that Ray is rather quiet but his pictures really have a soft feel to display the events of the day which i like as well. Shall wait for ur pics!!

Hmm .. thats weird, always think that films are more expensive.
In anycase, they do touch up for digital rite?
Till now, my friend is still arguing about the "touch up" "no touch up" ..

If i cant get my queries answered in the forum. I'll go bug ray and gang. Ahaha hh...

I have seen his pictures and i love it too, but i have only seen his actual day photos and not the PS. So not really able to make a comparison.

He is a good photographer ... I like his website alot! Have fun with your PS and show us your pics!

Hi Ppl,

Just wanna share with those who r looking for photographer. You might seriously want to consider Ray Ong.

My wife and I belong to those 'not-photogenic' type. And we are actually quite nervous how it will turn out. But when he show us our photos, gosh, it turn out well. At least presentable.. ha..

He's the guy who help to relax the atmosphere to bring out the natural side of you.

He might be a bit x, if you want to compare to the rest, but definitely comparable to others like Chris Ling or Benny Ang. But we thought he's worth the money. Besides, he return all digital photos to us.

My AD is 21 Dec 09 and my dinner will be at Zhou's Kitchen (Jurong Point) I plan to end my morning event by 1:30pm and have a express highlight video just before my 2nd march-in.
