Yes if your auspicious time is 7-9 am, you should reach the groom's place within the 2 hours. He didn't tell me any time to reach bride's place

Just have to take note that the parents got to drink tea before 0859.. The rest of the relatives can be later. If your Travelling time between each person house is quite a distance.. Gate crash need to cut down..
 
hello all. I also engaged Master Long. Do you girls know if he gives any timing for the combing of hair ( 上头）by parents? From what I remembered, there isn't any..
 
For brides whose parents divorced (not in contact with dad), who will do the combing of hair? Can mother do it alone?
And also the same question for sheltering bride with red umbrella on AD.

So should we proceed to have outdoor shoot before heading to groom hse or aft that?

My plan is to do the photoshoot after i complete both the groom and bride side..

Because you need about half an hour to do the shoot and you need to travel in between..

When he enters your house at 7.. He will still need to take picture of lifting veil, going to the car etc.. Then Travelling to the groom house.. You also need to video coming out from the car and going up the house into the room before serving tea..

You will realise you can't do much within that 2 hours unless your house is like really very near.. For mine, our houses are about 20-30min drive this we can't do photoshoot before going groom house.

Haven't select gown. Selecting beginning of May.. I went down to the store to make arrangements.. I don't want them to control too much of the dates because never know whether they will forget..
 
Hi btbs, u guys took your pre wedding shoot photos? Any locations to recommend in Sg? Prefer greenery shots...but the weather will kill me!!

What's the market rate MTM package around?
I signed up MTM package but was told to top up more than 1k ( not too sure if that is normal)

I topped up $1200 for my evening gown too. It depends on the details you requested for. Like ruffles, beading, lace. It all adds up.

hi, thanks for replying! i probably going to check out what entails that top up. Just abit concern when I am not a subject matter expert in cost of material .. lol
it seems alot to top up above 1k when I am asking for a simple gown and the gown+evening gown is MTM (rental) - not for me to keep :|

I know right. hahaha. are you at the design stage already? mine only asked me to top up after we fixed the design. the amount of work needed on the gown equates to the amount we need to top up. I enquired about heavy beading like some zuhair murad gowns and it was really expensive.

Settled banquet, deco, makeup artist and AD photographer. Will be taking pre wed photos in May and meeting solemnizer tomorrow.

Left with invitation cards printing, gdl, sourcing for evening gowns for mom and mil. Not sure what's left for me to do though.. How about you?

I'm about the same as u! Settled banquet, mua, deco, emcee, save the date and pre wed shoot. Now settling the photo layout and invitation cards printing, gdl, solemnizer and alo nitty gritty details!
Have u sent out save the date? I thought may is a bit late for pre wed shoot.. remember to chase for the album thereafter. I heard some btb took months to get the album!
