Only hiccups is the carpark so those wedding coming soon, do check to ensure its working fine, as some of my guests have to pay despite they got the complimentary carpark coupons. the services rendered was good! Really thanks to Lis, the banquet executive in charge. She does help to ensure everything goes on smoothly, as well as ensure no one sabotaged us throughout. haaa... Kevin was great too, though he was away during my wedding, but no major hiccups so its ok. hee..
Food was good! Except the chicken dish was slightly cold (pity abt tat as its the nicest dish we thought to be during the food tasting) The fish was great! Guess timing is important in getting the fish prepared and cooked. Heard dessert was fantastic. Sweet in all.

Everything went smooothly according to plan and more! Our coordinator was Lis and she's fantastic! She took a lot of initative that night to help me with my gown change, bringing my 2nd EG to a nearby room so that I do not have to waste time to go up to the room to change again, offer us many advice before the march in and she even helped my husband drink when his frens forced him to and quickly ushered us away so that they cannot force drinks down on him again (we specifically told her before the wedding to try and help keep us sober haha).The food was fantastic and no complains on food quality and quantity. The decor (we choose Flower theme with red roses) and ambience was perfect. Every small details was well taken care of so my husband and I can truly enjoy the night. Alcohol consumption was normal i guess. We opened up another 10 bottles of wine and 14 bottles of beer on top of the 35 complimentary wine and 1 barrel beer. HOwever, ours was a Mon dinner so this may be something that weekends couples may like to note. Bridal suite is nicely decorated. The PA seems to be in diff level, so the coordination is not v good. Dishes come too fast, dinner ended 10:30pm, then when guests ask for drinks after that was told that drinks are finished, but was only 10:30. Food wise v subjective, some say nice, some say chicken is hard, fish is small...some say fish is nice...I find shark's fin is starchy. Food is enough for everyone. Yam paste 2 sweet. I managed to cover the cost, gave 4 tables to mum, open extra 4 red wine.had extra 2k some more..but really depends who u invite, those long distance relative dun give a lot. old aunties & uncles also & long time fren also. as there is some miscomm, we dont have veg guests but end up order for 2, so they send the veg food to us after dinner. For the bridal suite, 1 of the light is not working, then we call for room svc, take us some time...morning, also no one pick up the call at the counter. Banquet - 4 cinnamon rm the manager in charge is Kevin (alth i strongly request for liz)..bt kevin is very very helpful...cos my slide show of studio pic had problem to play but he really help me to slove the problem. He had help me with my gown whenever gg up the stage. Alway brief us on wht to do next...help us to control of opening of extra wine( therefore oni open extra 3bot)...thumb up 4 him...(but aft the whole dinner i had found that my glasses which dress in gown and suit is missing... Food - As u know this is very personally..bt most of the guests say is nice...but my hubby sis say that the standard is diff fr food tasting...hmm dun care lah whatever...hmm evergreen if u feel that the mango with pomelo is too dilute...ur comment is wht i comment during my tasting..I strongly recomm u to consider mango pudding with cocktail..very nice and refeshing... Everything went smoothly and the dinner actually ended before 1030pm. Some reviews from me. Bridal Suite - Was the old setup but cozy nonetheless, there were very nice roses all over the room. One comment though is that there are not enuff chairs in the suite. I had 2 makeup sessions going on that day and we had to use the footstool as one of the chairs for the mothers for makeup and the poor MUAs got to stand throughout. Food - Did not recv much comments on the food, except the fish is very fresh. I had my share of the dinner in my room after the banquet and everything was so nice (though cold)! I love the lotus rice! Cant forget the taste. Banquet - The manager is Kelvin and he is very helpful and will bring us drinks before the march in to calm our nerves. He only gave us 15 mins to change for 2nd march in, which i am not sure why the rush. Anyway, we came down early and in the end was asked to sit on the sofa to wait. Cost - I managed to cover the banquet cost (HENG!) and even got a bottle of wine unopened! We got to bring the wine back for ourselves..haha..No extra cost was also incurred. Overall, the experience with Novotel was a pleasant one and I never regret.
