hello.. anyone hv any timeline on wat should be done, im a bit confused now.. when should we meet up the coordinator to discuss theme, select gifts, select cards etc..
 


Hello, nice to meet all of u. anyone of the brides here was fetch from hotel? im malaysian. during AD morning, my HTB will fetch me from hotel. Do u guys know abt the arrangement & room rate? pls advise
 
Think there's a weekend promotion from now till May 09 ba.

standard room for overnight stay is $149++.
whereas Day room (2-8pm) is $125++.
Thus overnight stay more worth. :D

My hub will be borrowing two videocam from his friends so we can take it ourselves. hee..

Hi All, i cant decide on the venue banquet, had shortlisted Novotel and HolidayInn Parkview. Has anyone tried their food and see their ballroom at Novotel?

I haven seen Holiday Inn so my reviews will be quite bias.. hahahah you should go down to Novotel and take alook yourself so that you can talk to the coordinator and find out more and also can visit the ballroom.

Thomas, what is your budget for VG? I already settled for the PG. Now see got extra left over cash then i go for VG hahaha... :P
 
winter: VG not more than 1k. Actually my BS package oredi included AD PG in it, only thing I'm worried is whether he can work well with a stranger if I were to get VG on my own. Have heard of accounts where PG cannot work well with VG on AD and even worse, getting into each other's way too. Certainly dun want that to happen on my big day.

So now considering whether to drop my included PG and get a refund, then go for PG/VG together as a package or take the risk and go for VG only.
 
limspep, jus to check if yours is lunch as my coordinator says my date is still valid on 12Nov. Cos i will be taking up Phoenix ballroom too if its comfirm.

Thomas, i will definately not change my date becos of Kevin's overlook. Its so disappointing!

Firstly, the date and number of tables require has been informed to him.
Secondly, our meet up on tuesday has been postpone because he cant attend to me when our appt was made last week. I still made a trip down yest to check out the ballroom myself without his assistance. Lastly, before we could even confirm the package with him, he told me he overlook it.

So angry can, i urge those having kevin doin stuff for them to becareful too.
 
oops...cool down ok...think they must be overloaded with work that's why he overlooked urs...imagine whole hotel only 2 coordinators taking care of all the couples...
 
Thomas, sigh~ den the more its easier for them to check the dates since there's only the two of them. But its alrite la, anyway me cant sign with them, but the existin one has to be careful. better confirm n confirm
 
last emailed from them was last week telling me will check n get back but till now no news on my confirmation too ... haiz.Anyway i'm out.
 
I was at Liang Court on Saturday, 18 april. Parking is really bad. A lot of people were just waiting to be squeezed into the 3 small lifts.

It's one of my choices. But I am afraid my guests will curse and swear when they faced all these inconveniences.
 
Hi, I am considering Novotel Clarke Quay to hold my wedding banquet.

I went to check out the place and find some of the facilities do not seem adequate. The 3 'mini' lifts at Liang Court cant effectively transport the huge influx of guests. Just forsee guests will wait very long to reach the ballroom and a long while to leave after the banquet too.

And I noticed that female toilet outside Phoenix Grand Ballroom only has 3 cubicles. I cant figure out how it can cater to the 400-500 capacity. I will be very embarrased if there is a long snaking Queue and my guests need to queue 30 mins to use the restroom. Or are there other restrooms which I missed out?

Brides and Grooms who have held your wedding there, did you receive any complaints?

Do I worry too much?

My HTB thinks I think too much for the guests comfort and well being. But I thought as a host, I got to consider all factor?

Does HL take a long time to reply?

As for lifts, good enough?
nearby and its not really small.
And usually people come in small groups, left in small groups too.
Doubt will all leave at same time (like after finish a movie n leaving cinemas at same time)

So fret not.

In fact, my only concern was getting there from Clarke Quay MRT rather than the above wor.

Hmm.. abit regret i didn't print the map and put into my wedding invites.
It is really useful to have it.

6 more months to the wedding...i have yet to prepare anything....

maybe its cos im doing the reno for my house now...im more excited for the house than the wedding itself

elly: no, they will ask u to make deposit first, then send u official contract later. Draft agreement will be given to u to sign first though.
