Hi all,
I am really feeling bore and with no motivations to work. I joined this SME MNC company not long ago. I am not sure what is my direct boss doing and going to do next. Things happen in office as follows:
1) always missing in action - dont know what he is up to in morning.
2) have fixed appointment to meet clients (in Singapore) at 10.30am. He was late for almost 2 hrs and I called to change appointment time twice. I waited for him in Taxi stand when he mentioned he is on his way. 30 mins passed, he say he will be late etc.... End up he was late for almost 1.5 hrs. By the time we reach client office, they are preparing to go out for lunch.
3) have fixed appointment to meet 3 clients (in Batam) at 9.30am, 11am and 2pm. I have booked ferry tickets but 10mins before gate close and he was not here yet. Received sms from him saying on his way and yet still late for 2 hrs. All appointments in Batam gone hire-wired. Miss my lunch and no water to drink....feel sick the next day.
4) monthly salary normally will be late for 2-3 days. Worse of all, my Jan expenses claims $1k plus was not paid yet. He say head office have not transferred funds over. Due to lack of funds in bank, I need to pay for my colleague hotel bills etc.
5) I need to engage freelance to work oversea urgently and he is aware we are very late and project requires to start work immediately. Contract and salary package was handled by him and these issues was in progress since 1 week ago. Currently, my boss is out of town. I contact the freelance yesterday to inform him about the project scope. I was shocked to learned that contract was not signed or fully agreeded. So nothing can move from here. Till today, no answer from my boss. Our client is making noise etc. It is not the 1st time that my boss leave shit for me to clear!
6) There is 1 occassion that office lack of manpower and my colleague agreeds to perform project after travelling 9 hrs on plane. His deal with my boss is to submit report late and my boss agrees. Due to submission of late report, my HQ complains to my boss and becomes my fault and problems which is not my problems. I feel that my boss is not supportive and didnt fight for staff rights.
What I should do next? To continue to work or find a better job?
